"To save both our worlds, we only have one choice: separate the two worlds forever." Luna explained.
"And how the hell do you expect me to do that?" Horace spat.
"I don't, but I expect Discord to."
"Discord? Who'd that?"
"Back in my realm, he was the god of chaos and mischief. He'd been a major villain to me and Celestia's rule for many centuries, but as of recent had been reformed to be an aide for the kingdom. That is, however, until Equestria and Earth had merged together."
"Why? What happened to him?"
"Well, his body is fueled by entropy, and thus varies depending on the energy of whatever environment he's in. Given our magical nature, we'd seen him as a monstrosity made up from the bodies of countless of creatures, but we'd lost track of him to the merge with Earth. I'd assume in this realm, he now has the body of a human, and with the brain of one, he'd be unable to comprehend his true nature and has no memory of his past life."
"Wait, wait...let me get this straight." Horace said skeptically. "Another dimension ruled by unicorns and ponies is going to invade and enslave the Earth because they can't get enough of our fast food, and to stop them, I have to find the god of chaos or whatever to make them go away?!"
"I understand that this looks like absolute madness to you, but you need to follow through, for the benefit of all your kind!"
"How? I don't even know how I'm supposed to find him!"
"Then let me teach you." Luna reached both hands behind her back and, despite having no pockets, brought out a smooth, shining blue gem tied to a black cord that hung by her right hand's finger, in her left a vial filled with a purple, transparent liquid. "This gem will help you find Discord." She held the loop open and gently draped it around his neck. "It contains part of his natural essence. If you hold it perfectly still by the string, it'll point to his location, and glow brighter the closer he is. Once you find him, you'll then have him drink this..." She took and opened Horace's hand for him, placing the vial in his palm. "...To give him back his Equestrian form, and any power it contains."
Horace looked at the gem in his fingers, turning around its smooth shape, then to the thin liquid in the vial. It still felt like a dream. Not now, but the entirety of the past few days, and he would soon wake up in his bed safe and sound. But at the back of his mind, there was still a twinge of fear that he couldn't ignore. "Find discord, give him the vial, and bingo, we're done. Right?"
"And one more thing!" Luna's voice instantly went deathly serious. "Do not let Discord eat any Stop N' Burger! If he goes, all hope is lost!"
"Luna? Are you awake?"
Luna's head shot towards the voice. "Oh, no, it's Celestia!"
"We can't have you dreaming now, we have much to plan for!"
"I have to go, now! Take heed of what I'd said!" Luna's body began to fade away, starting from her feet to the rest of her body. "Good luck, and best wishes!
"Wait, Luna, I need you're help! I-"
But before she'd fully disappeared, Luna's body was shattered by a beam of blinding, white light swelling into existence behind her, burning away any tangibility to the dreamscape...
