Ai carries you and Hotaru down the hall until you all make it back to the warehouse. You’re at the edge far from where Kiyoko was, although that wouldn’t be a problem as an explosion knocked Ai down from her side, causing you and Hotaru to fall to the ground with her.
You looked up and saw the source of the explosion, which was the missile launcher embedded in Sonya’s knee, who was several feet away from where you were. She wasn’t alone either, she had Kiyoko with her too, who was tied up in a whip.
Sonya put her leg down to talk. “Don't worry, humans. I calculated the right distance to fire that missile to just knock you off your feet. Although I guess one of you already beat me to it.”
Dang. Been an amputee for 5 minutes and you’re already receiving ableist jokes. “We…we don’t want any trouble-”
“Well it’s too late for that. What you did in the dismantler will halt operations for several days. And after that? It’ll attract REAL journalists who’ll hound corporate and me over how a human limb got into the recycling process.”
“We’re sorry, okay? We just wanted to save our friend,” Ai said.
“You really think a simple ‘sorry’ will fix all the damage you’ve caused to this facility here? No, there’s only one thing that’ll fix this. All three of you will be detained by me and testify to intentional sabotage to save some of Tusk Corporation’s image.”
“If-If that happens,” Kiyoko said, “That’ll land us in jail.” That warning didn’t sound directed to Sonya.
“You think I’m supposed to care? After you infiltrated my facility, damaged company property, and offset productivity by who knows how much?!”
“Infiltrate? You were the one who let us run around freely,” Kiyoko taunted. This earned her a tightening of the whip around her body.
“You think you’re funny, huh?” Sonya sayed more angry than annoyed. “Don’t worry, I’ll give you PLENTY to laugh about when you're under my custody…”
As Sonya talked, Ayano’s voice spoke up in your ear. “Shujiko, get Hotaru to the terminal behind you. I have an idea.”
“You humans think you’re so special, you think you can do anything you want. You think only you can manage a corporation or a planet…” Sonya continued ranting, with Kiyoko receiving her anger in the form of tightened airways.
“Stop! Let her go!” Ai yelled. She was too focused on them to hear what Ayano said, leaving you to crawl over to Hotaru.
“Here, we have an idea. Help me move you over there,” you pointed to the terminal.
“Got it,” Hotaru said.
“Well I’ll show you,” Sonya continued. “I’ll show you how capable androids are, just like I’ll show YOU why jail will be far better than being under my custody,” Sonya said threateningly. That threat was undercut by her boobs bouncing again, increasing by another size.
Suddenly, there was another announcement. “WARNING: ALL DEFECTIVE ROBOTS ARE BEING ACTIVATED. ALL UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL PLEASE EVACUATE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY”
“WHAT?!” Sonya yelled.
The robots on the shelves started getting up and moving around. Some immediately started spurting random gibberish. Some started running around uncontrollably. However, most just looked around in confusion, barely even moving away from their spots.
“No! Get back in your places! You are all still scheduled for decommission!” Sonya yelled at them. She unwrapped Kiyoko from her whip so she could use it to force the defective robots back.
Kiyoko ran over to you, and Ai got between you all and Sonya and the other robots. “What happened?” Ai asked.
“Seems Ayano activated all the other robots as a distraction,” Kiyoko asked.
“But…most’ve them have barely moved. What’s up with that?”
“It’s because they're still robots,” Hotaru explained sadly. “Even if you turn them on, they still know they’ve been marked defective by humans so they’ll just accept their fate since no one wants them around.”
“But, we can still use this as a distraction right?”
“No you can't!” Sonya yelled. She cracked her whip at you, but Ai blocked it with her arm. “Once I finish this mess, I’ll find out who’s doing it for you, and punish them along with you.” The angry burst caused her breasts to grow again. Sonya went back to shutting off individual robots again. Maintenance drones started entering to help her.
“That’s why,” Ayano said, “I asked you to bring Hotaru to the terminal. Plug her into the system.”
“W-why?” you and Hotaru asked.
“Hurry up! The system is finally trying to kick me out.”
Alright fine, you thought. Hotaru ejected a cord from herself and handed it to you so you could plug her in.
“Good. Now give Hotaru your earpiece,” Ayano ordered.
“Uh, alright.” You did so. From Hotaru’s facial expressions, you could tell that Ayano was giving her some orders.
“All defective robots! Listen to me!” Hotaru’s voice suddenly blared over the PA, catching everyone by surprise. “My designation is H-0T4RU… Like you, I have been scheduled for decommissioning... All because of supposed ‘defects’ in me... The DRR and society at large has decided to dispose of me for this. But despite that, I have people who have risked their lives for me, all because they love me for me… So why? Why am I deemed worthless despite still being valued?... My friends still value me. I still value myself… To hell with the idea of defects... If I’m defective, then I’m proud of it, because they make me!... So screw the DRR and everyone else who deems us worthless. We’re all valued…. So now you have a choice… Either wait for your demise at their orders, or rise up! They’ve already taken everything you have to lose. So… rise up!... Take your freedom and your lives for yourselves!”
Some tense silence followed. Then the robots all let out mechanical cries and started rioting. They jumped down from their shelves, tore apart the maintenance drones, and started flooding out any entrances. You lost track of Sonya, but she was in the crowd and out of sight, which was good enough for you.
“Woah, Hotaru. You came up with all that?” you asked her.
“No, I just repeated what Ayano told me to say.”
“I thought you just copied LE-414’s speech in the second robot uprising,” Ai said.
“Whatever you guys did, let’s use this distraction to get out of here,” Kiyoko said.
Ai lifted up Hotaru and Kiyoko hoisted your arm onto her shoulders, allowing you to limp (or more like hop) your way along with her. A concealed emergency exit reveals itself thanks to Ayano, allowing you all to escape the facility while avoiding the riot.
All that’s left now is to get off of the planet.
