The door slid open and you saw Ai standing behind it. Wait, what? She has her arms and legs. Her real ones and not her cybernetic limbs.
“Shujiko, are you feeling better?” Ai asked.
“Y-yeah. Ai? You have limbs?” you said surprised.
“What? You thought I threw them away after getting my prosthetics? I’ve been keeping them on ice in case something like this happened. Well, okay not EXACTLY like this, but for any emergency really.”
“Huh. O-okay.” You kind of weren’t expecting to see her like this and were at a loss for words.
“But are you sure you’re okay? You seemed hit pretty hard after that Yaeko lady’s visit.”
“Y-yeah, I’m fine, now. Really.”
“Good, because we’re gonna rescue Hotaru and Izumi.”
“Wait, really?” That was what you came to ask her about, yet she’s already one step ahead of you.
“What? If you love them, then we shouldn’t let them suffer such injustices. We have to rescue them. And don’t worry, I already have a plan.”
“Oh, yeah your right. It’s just…”
“Just what?”
“I… You know Kiyoko?”
“From the school paper?”
“Yeah, her. She actually came to me with a rescue plan already.”
“Oh… Can you trust her?”
“I mean, we came to an agreement. It seems her ‘interests’ are aligned with ours.”
“Hmm. What’s her plan anyway?”
“I don’t know the details yet, but basically she recruited Ayano, who was able to hack into the DRR and Yaeko’s company, and has already found both Hotaru and Izumi. After that, she says she can use her ‘connections’ as a journalist to get them.”
“Oh. Okay, well let’s go with her plan then.”
“Really? Are you sure?”
“Yeah. My plan just involved beating up people until we get to your other girlfriends. Her plan sounds way better.”
“Oh. Well okay. Let’s go meet up with her then.”
You lead Ai to the game room where you left Ayano and Kiyoko together. On the way though, “Uh, I should probably mention. I got a new girlfriend.” You filled Ai in on everything else.
