"Hey, Twilight, mind if I talk with you for a moment?"
"Hm?" Twilight didn't look away from the video game she was playing. "What is it, John?"
"Something kind of important. Can you pause?"
"Important? Yes, sure..." She paused the game and scooted over as far as she could, noticing that I was approaching the couch. She'd been lounging around enough that her butt was now able to cover a little over half the couch, making my seat a bit more cramped when I sat down. "Is everything alright?"
"Well, that depends." I stated, wondering how to stay both calm stern. "Twilight, I'm happy that you've made some friends over the past few days, and I'm more than happy to have them over here and there, but be honest with me: what do you guys do when I'm not around?"
"Us? Not much, we sometimes read, watch TV, go out and walk, see things around town, pretty much the same things that we do together. We haven't been making too many messes, had we?"
"A few, in fact, but that's not important. Besides the Twilights I saw, have there been other ponies coming in here when I'm not here?"
"Oh...well..." Twilight's eyes nervously darted to the right. Yep, she'd be lying. "Of course not! Why'd you think that?"
"Twilight, the neighbors had been telling me that five or six of you have been coming around here. Not just that, there's food constantly being emptied out, the house is completely redecorated when I get home sometimes, so what's been going on here?"
"Uh..." Twilight couldn't answer. "Well...I think that..."
"No, Twilight. I'm sorry, but it'll be a pretty big bother for me to leave home knowing that strangers might come inside while I'm gone. Please, Twilight, if it's just for my peace of mind, what's going on?"
"Hm?" Twilight didn't look away from the video game she was playing. "What is it, John?"
