"I met them just a few days ago while you were at work!" Twilight said, beaming at me. "They're just the best!"
"That's wonderful, Twilight!" I said. "Good for you!"
"I actually came across them when I was on my way back from the bookstore. They were actually all shopping with their friends at that one corner grocery store, where I bumped into them."
"Neat, neat." I said. "I wasn't aware that anyone else in the neighborhood own--err, were friends with other ponies."
"Neither did I! You'll get to meet them tomorrow when they come over for dinn--" Twilight's face went flat. "--I just remembered that I forgot to tell you. is it all right if they come over tomorrow?"
I thought about ti for a moment or two. "I guess so, yeah."
"Great! Can we have pizza?"
".....Sure, why not? We'll have pizza."
......
It was Saturday night, and I was doing some last minute cleaning around the house. Twilight was scurrying about the place, making sure that each and every object was clean and in its proper place. Seeing as her butt was large enough to knock something over with each time she turned around, it took a great deal of time before she was finally satisfied.
The door rang, and Twilight squealed in delight.
"Oh, they're here." Twilight said. "I can get it!"
Running over to the door, Twilight undid the lock, opened up the door, and revealed....
