The first few weeks after the appearance of the three other Twilight went much as they did before. I would go to work, Twilight would do her own thing, and we would hang out together when I was off of work, just as pleasant and as comfortable as before.
Except, well, things weren't exactly as they were before, as it quickly became apparent that, while I was absent from home....something was going on while I was absent from work.
The signs were small, but noticeable. Tables and chairs and other furniture would suddenly be arranged to accommodate large numbers of people. Full cans of coffee and bottles of soda pop would be emptied in a day or two. Neighbors started to talk to me about all the Twilight Sparkles who were congregating in my house. Things like that.
When I asked Twilight about the odd goings on, she readily admitted that, yes, the other Twilights were coming over to hang around. I might have been perfectly fine with that, in fact, if not for the fact that the neighbors claimed that groups of five or six Twilights were coming to my home....many of whom, when I asked them about what they looked like, suggested that they were not the same ones who had come to dinner that one night.
What on earth was going on?
Choice 1: It's probably nothing.
Choice 2: A confrontation is made.
