You start to help but something stops you

"Help! Help!" you hear voices from inside the box calling out as you pound on the outer walls.

"Please you have to get us out of here!"

"I'll do my best!" you call out, searching around for something that can help you break through the thick cardboard walls. On the far side of the cabinet counter, you can see small boxes lying stacked on each other. Breaking into a run, you head to the boxes, hoping to find something that will help you.

"Mmm, just what a woman needs when she's having morning cravings," you hear Lisa say as she sits down at the table, her hands still clutching the glass full of panicking tinies.

"Oh stop screaming...or don't... I don't care, mommy's hungry and she wants little people in her belly right now!" Lisa says, with a chuckle as she brings the glass up to her face while she rubs her belly with her free hand.

You can't help but stop to watch what she does next. A shiver of terror rips through your body as you realise that she has a bowl full of cereal and milk in front of her, and she is slowly tipping the glass over it.

She hasn't even realised that Ben, her husband, is in that glass. There's nothing you can do to help those poor souls, Ben included, but you can't help but feel even greater for pity for Ben. Even by his admission, he was sure that Lisa would eat him alive even if she recognised him, but you are not as convinced. After all, he is the father of her child. Surely that would make her think twice about eating him.

It doesn't matter now though, there's nothing you can do. You watch as Lisa drops each of the tiny people into her cereal, watching as each tiny body hits the milky mix with a visible plop, their tiny heads bobbing at the surface as cheerios the size of lifesavers float all around them.

Resuming your run, you make it to the end of the cabinet, and you are in luck. The boxes are full of toothpicks. Climbing up on top of one, you slip your feet into the side of the box, and push open the box with all your strength. You manage to budge the opening and give yourself a small gap, more than enough to slide one of the toothpicks out though.

It is a formidable piece of wood, and you struggle to pull it completely our of the box, realising that it is almost three times longer than your whole body. Nevertheless, it is quite a light piece, and you are strong enough to drag it with you, though it slows you down considerably.

Walking as quickly as you can back to the box of shrinks, you can't help but watch what Lisa is doing at the table.
