Chapter 32
Backing away from the door, you turn around only to see a gigantic form standing up at the top of the stairs. A few feet away from you, Ben is fixed in place, unable to comprehend just how huge his heavily pregnant wife is. The shock of being tiny has only just begun to sink in for him.
"Who on earth is up knocking on people's doors this early in the morning?! And where is Ben?" the half-awakened housewife says, as she stumbles down the stairs, towards the door, and towards the two of you.
Each rumbling footstep sends tremors through the floorboards, and your survival instinct kicks in immediately as you propel yourself out of the way and towards a low shoe rack beside the door where you quickly dive behind some of Lisa's high heels, hoping not to be spotted.
*DING DING*
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" says the blonde haired goddess, her massive body towering above the two of you as her feet come slamming down right beside Ben.
Ben.
He's not moving. You watch as your formerly giant captor stands rooted in place, his face a mask of terror as his gigantic wife stands right above him, her hands reaching out to open the door.
You think about calling to him, maybe you were a bit hasty to condemn him. The smell of Lisa's stomach juices still hangs heavy around you, and you start to feel sorry for the newly tiny man. No one deserves a fate like that.
On the other hand, if he starts running over to you and Lisa spots him, she will probably spot you too. Worse, Ben might tell her. Right now, he has no idea where you are hidden, his attention has been completely focused on Lisa and her giant body. Should you really give up your position to help him?
