Ben is frozen in place and Lisa notices him

Chapter 35
Placing her hand on her bulging tummy, Lisa looks down at it for a moment as she rubs her belly.
"Oof alright, alright, time for breakfast I get it," she says, talking to her belly.
"Hey! What on earth are you doing..." she says, suddenly dropping low, her hand reaching for the ground where you know Ben is still standing.
"Gotcha," she exclaims, as her hand closes around Ben, completely covering him up in her fleshy palm.
Getting to her feet again, you watch as she gives a quick look around the hallway, scanning the floor before walking away to the kitchen.
"You'd better be the only one to have escaped," you hear her say as she walks away, "my tummy is rumbling and mommy needs to eat."
You suddenly realise that she has no idea that she has caught Ben, thinking instead that he is one of the shrinkies from the box you were packed in.
Unsurprisingly, your conscience begins to get to you once more, not so much about Ben, but about the other shrinks that you were about to leave earlier. Time's up though, if you wanted to help them escape, you should have gone there first instead of making a run for the door.
You are safe right now, and only a few feet away from freedom. Freedom from Lisa at least, who knows what is waiting for you just outside the front door. The outside world is hardly a safe place for a shrink.
