Just as you feared, you watched the light flood into the purse as it was unzipped open and saw Bethany's huge hand come down to grab you. She plucked you up and brought you out of the purse, gently placing you in the palm of her other hand. When your eyes adjusted to the light you noticed three norm girls that were around Bethany's age looking down at you with intrigued smiles on their faces. You didn't recognize them but it is possible that they are students at your school.
"OH MY GOSH YOU HAVE A PET SHRINK", one of them squealed excitedly. Again you were reminded that you have agreed to be someone's pet, this was already embarrassing. "That's right Amanda, my mom got him for me as a late birthday gift", Bethany responded. "Lucky. My parents can't afford a Shrink.", Amanda said with a hint of jealousy, "Can I hold him ?". "No way, you'd probably smother him to death", one of the other girls said. "Dany", Bethany said angrily. Bethany didn't want you to be afraid of her friends and Dany's comment was not helping. "What ? You know how Amanda get's around Shrinks.", Dany said. "It's not my fault they're so adorable", Amanda said cooing over you.
"Can I hold the little guy", the other girl asked. Bethany then looked down at you, "Are you okay with Liz holding you Ken ?", she asked. This was already exactly something that you feared at this size. Of course you were afraid of being squished by a norm and getting swallowed by one but this was something that worried you to. The pet names, being called 'cute' and 'adorable', being treated like an animal was something you knew would happen with your new size, you would rather be around norms like this than norms that want to hurt you but this was still embarrassing.
Yet through it all Bethany was still treating you right. This was something unexpected, something that you thought no norms would ever do. And even though you didn't want to, you were about to agree to do this; the least you could do for Bethany was give her friends a chance.
"S-sure, b-be gentle please", you managed to squeak out. Liz held out her hands for you to walk onto and you did just that, looking up at her and the other girls' faces surrounding you, with Amanda holding in her excitement. "So is he going to be joining us all day today ?" Dany asked. "For a little bit at least, I need to buy some clothes for him", Bethany said.
This was when you took better notice of your surroundings. This wasn't just a park, a short distance away was an entrance to a mall. Looks like these four were planning one last shopping day for old times sake and you were going to join. " Speaking of, let's head inside" Bethany said before picking you up and holding you in her fist. The girls then began heading toward the mall.
It was obvious that Bethany and her friends weren't here just for you, you assumed that meant that she was going to buy things for herself as well. If she starts off with buying your clothes, that gave you a chance to tell her how uncomfortable you were. But if she doesn't, you were going to have to wait things out.
