You remember that Bethany's mom said that they were going to move across the country in a few days and figured that since Bethany was being so nice to you, you could at least let her go see her friends.
"No, go see your friends." you say. "You're moving in a few days and you've been so kind to me, the least I can is not object to you seeing your friends."
"Oh thank you!" says Bethany happily. "I was really hoping to have some quality time with the girls before we moved!"
You finish your breakfast as Bethany squeals in excitement getting ready for her day out. The more you're around her, the more safe you feel. Yet there's still the fear of her mom and the fact that you'll taken far away, never to see your family again.
"Hey! Would you like to come with me? I'm sure my friends would just adore you. They're not the kind of people who enjoy eating or torturing tinies. If anything, they'll be happy I have a pet." asks Bethany, enthusiastically.
You think for a moment. You can only imagine how humiliating it would be to have a group of giant teenage girls gush over you like you were some cute little animal. On the other hand, the alternative isn't much better. You're almost certain that Bethany's mom would "barrow you" if she got the chance.
