You are overwhelmed with sympathy for Bethany and decide to wait for another chance to escape. As Bethany gets closer to the park with you trapped in her purse, you try to justify voluntarily missing you're opportunity: there is still time, there will be other chances, Bethany is buying me new clothes, I wouldn't last five minutes on my own, and so on.

Soon you can hear the cheerful muffed voice of Bethany excitedly greeting her friends. You feel a slight thud, no doubt caused by her purse bumping into one for her friends. Soon you hear the muffled sounds of feminine chattering and giggles. All of the sudden you get a bad thought. What if Bethany's friends aren't as nice as she says they are? What if one of them gets their hands on you and has more malicious intentions? You hope that her friends are as nice as she says they are. By this point you figure she'd keep you safe in her purse if she even suspected one of them would hurt you. You begin to relax a little, but you still hope you don't have to meet her friends. Even if they're nice, you can imagine it would be a bit embarrassing. Especially after you imagine them getting all girly while picking out clothes for you.
