Jen's attack was so relentless that she wore Lily's defenses down enough to successfully land a square punch to her face, which she quickly followed with two rapid punches to the stomach, an uppercut that hit her chin, another powerful punch right in the gut, further followed up by a knee-hit, also in the stomach, and finishing with a low sweeping kick that harshly knocked her down on the floor, her back painfully hitting the cold hard tiled floor. Around them, the other students were in awe, that was the most brutal they had ever seen Jen go on anyone, and also, it was one of the few times they saw the top bully get beaten this badly.
Jen stepped back to catch her breath and Lillian walked next to her, eyes widened in surprise.
"Holy shit Jen, that was like out of a martial arts movie" She laughed, but saw that she was still immensely angry.
'I guess she and her mom weren't kidding with that about their Viking blood, holy hell...' She thought.
"I bet *huff!* you're feeling *puff!* pretty happy with yourself, huh?" Toxic Lily said as she got up once more.
"And I see someone that doesn't goddamn learn" Lillian replied, she was plenty angry herself, but she didn't exactly want to get in trouble, though all bets were off since a while ago. But she knew Lily could dish as much punishment as she could take, and that, coupled with the fact that she didn't fight fair meant that Lillian knew she needed to be careful.
"I'll take her on while you recover your breath" She said to Jen, who simply nodded with a growl in response. Her eyes pretty much said 'I want to kill her' in all capitals.
"Come! Are you gonna try squashing me?" Toxic Lily taunted her, seeing that she was the one walking towards her.
"Don't tempt me" Lillian replied with a smug smile as she calmly approached her. This pissed Lily off, and ended up charging at her herself.
Being a tad less agile than Jen (though nowhere near as much as her size and weight would suggest), she instead firmly planted her feet on the ground and took her on, her weight allowing her to do so without getting knocked over. But instead of wrestling her as she tried earlier, once she had taken her attempt at tackling her, Lillian powerfully hip-checked her straight into the lockers, Toxic Lily harshly slammed into them face-first, narrowly avoiding getting her nose broken.
Lillian laughed, seeing her slide down to the floor, as that hit stunned her for a moment, but she was quickly back on her feet.
"There should be a weight limit for attending school" The bully growled, but Lillian simply grinned.
"Then maybe you shouldn't have picked up a fight above your weight class" She saw that this time, Lily was the one losing her cool. She should've known, however, that Lillian always took that kind of attempts at insulting her in stride, and it was one of the main reasons she hated her in particular, the inability to verbally abuse her.
In a fashion similar to Jen, Toxic Lily aggressively attacked Lillian, wildly throwing punches, though the majority of those were blocked, having a harder time at dodging. Unfortunately, Lily was a bit faster than Lillian could keep up with for a prolonged time, and she landed several punches to her stomach before she ran out of steam. Noticing that she was slowing down, Lillian grabbed her by the face and smashed her right down into the floor, then she tried stomping on her stomach, but Lily rolled away just in time, getting startled at how the floor shook for a second from the sheer force and weight behind that stomp.
'Shit. I need to take this more seriously' She scolded herself as she got up once more. The back of her head painfully rang, as it had just recently met the hard tiles on the floor in the most unfriendly manner. The fact that she was still on her feet after taking such a beating was a testament to how tough she was, which everyone at this point was aware of, but seeing it actually happen didn't cease to be intimidating.
This time there was no taunting nor trash-talking, once she recovered her focus, Toxic Lily charged at Lillian, who, using a defensive boxing stance, ready to endure her angry assault. However, she had backup, and Lily was intercepted by Jen, who once again punched her in the face, but Lily managed to block the second punch and decided to stop focusing on Lillian, quickly exchanging a furious barrage of punches with Jen. Both girls tuned out the world around them, only paying attention to their opponent's moves, dodging most of the punches while throwing their own.
"Holy crap" Lillian heard the students around say.
"It's a slugfest... for real..."
"She really is fighting her punch for punch..."
"Can... can she really do it? Can Jen really beat her in her own turf?"
"Who knows"
Even Lillian had to admit she was impressed, she knew Lily had many years of experience beating people to the ground, but Jen was matching that with sheer ferocity. Knowing well where that ferocity stemmed from, she wondered if this made her 'more worthy' regarding their friendly competition for your affections. But it wasn't like she wasn't fiercely protective of you herself, she was pissed off and wanted nothing more to make her eat dirt, but seeing Jen be so hotheaded here somehow alerted her that she should try to think things through more.
As their fierce bout went on, both Jen and Lily took powerful punches, but when it finally ended, with both girls dashing away from each other, Jen was in decidedly better shape, Lily was the one who had taken more of a beating, as more bruises were visible on her arms, though she did a decent job protecting her face, however, beneath her shirt more bruises remained hidden from view. She was growling in increased anger, she didn't understand how Jen could match her in fighting ability, for all she knew she was only a somewhat athletic girl that enjoyed volleyball.
Seeing the state she was in, Lillian decided that this was her chance, they wouldn't let Lily recover just so she could keep fighting, and charged at her, looking like she was going for a tackle, which Lily barely dodged by sidestepping, but that was exactly what Lillian herself wanted, giving her a smug smirk as she swiftly swung her hips, using the momentum she had built up for her supposed tackle, and hip-checked Lily the hardest she could ever recall. She sent the mean bully tumbling across the hallway and ended up getting slammed into the lockers on the opposite side.
"...D...damm-" She growled but she wasn't even allowed to finish what she was saying as Lillian walked up to her and kicked her in the ribs.
"...damn... you... fuckin'... elephant..." She said with what little air was left in her lungs after having most of it singlehandedly knocked out of her body by Lillian's insanely strong hip-check.
Lillian said nothing, and simply raised her foot above her face. On the inside, Lily was starting to get scared, but she had long mastered keeping up a tough front. She almost got her face stomped down by Lillian, but managed to do a half-roll to the left that allowed her to evade that. That's when she felt it. The adrenaline rush that she had been waiting for. Even though she had been pretty angry as she faced these girls, she had been angry at many things for so long that it didn't truly trigger the typical fight-or-flight response than it was supposed to, but that twinge of fear she got from Lillian did the job.
'Fucking finally' She thought, standing up with some difficulty, but quickly breathing deep, readying herself to continue fighting, much to the other students' disbelief, even Jen was surprised.
"How can she still stand up after that?" She asked Lillian.
"In terms of brawling, she's no joke, she can take as much as she dishes. Plus, she has never known when to quit" Lillian bitterly said, to which Lily smiled and flipped her off in response.
"This is nothing! I grew up with 4 older brothers!" She boasted.
"Your lips are bleeding though" Lillian subtly chuckled.
"fuck!" Toxic Lily whispered as she quickly wiped the blood off with her hand.
Jen and Lillian got into a fighting stance and decided to wait, they wanted Lily to tire herself out, and as there was two of them, they were forcing her to choose a target, knowing that the one that she ignored would be able to attack with relative impunity. Toxic Lily, however, simply laughed in response.
"Warmup's over. Now the real fighting begins!" She boasted, it was true that she had taken a beating, but she had had equal to worse ones in the past, and between the adrenaline now pumping through her veins and her deep hatred for these girls, she was determined to give them hell, especially after their attempts at humiliating her, which wouldn't go unforgiven.
"She's a monster!"
"I knew it, not even Jen can beat her"
"I dunno, I think she's bluffing"
"Dude, that's Toxic Lily you're talking about, she's beaten senior football players!"
Those were amongst the murmured comments that could be heard around them. But Lillian and Jen remained firm. They had a score to settle with this girl, and having seen her hurt you only served to push them over the edge. They too were prepared to give her absolute hell. And thus, the fighting continued...
