You wander around Space School Academy to learn more about it. You ate lunch in the cafeteria and learn all the strange alien foods that are available, but luckily there are still familiar delicacies for you to eat, like burgers. You also figure out that you still have classes, to your annoyance. After figuring out your schedule, you attend them like normal, but fortunately they weren't hard thanks to advanced teaching methods.
Soon enough, you think about Ai again. How majestically she swam through the water and saved you. You were already attracted to her before, but now you think you are fully infatuated. Either way, you eagerly wanted to see her again.
You make your way to the swimming pool to find her, but to your disappointment she isn’t there. Maybe she’s in the track room instead? You head there and sure enough, you find her doing laps.
She’s wearing new prosthetics. Her legs are both robotic running blades, making her run super fast, but it also looks like she doesn’t have any arms on though. As she is turning the corner towards you. You raise a hand and wave to her, calling her name. However she instead just zips past you, a gust of wind blowing against you from her momentum. You curiously wonder what that was about as you watch her loop around the track again. But luckily, after that last lap she slows down and stops in front of you.
“Whoo,” Ai says. “Sorry about that. These legs are great for running, but not so much for stoppin’. Hehe,” she says as she taps her running blade.
“Ah, I see. That makes sense,” you say. You look closer and see that she indeed doesnt have arms, and not only that, the sockets you saw before are covered by flat metal discs now. “Hey, sorry if this sounds weird, by what happened with your arms?” you ask.
“Oh, I don’t wear arms when I run. They’re not too useful for that. Besides, without ‘em I’m more aerodynamic, don’t you agree?” Ai said, puffing out her chest.
“I guess so,” you say. The sides of her body do look much smoother without them. In fact she’d be built like a muscular rocket ship if it weren’t for two things.
“If only I replaced my breasts, think about how much wind resistance I could reduce.”
“Hey, you don’t need to go that far, right? I think your boobs look good on you.” You blush as you realize what you said.
Ai just giggled though. “Thanks for the compliment. But don’t worry, I don’t plan on doin’ that yet. Besides, I’d get some cybernetic breasts to wear outside of sports.” You can’t help but think of how that would look. “So what brings ya here?” Ai asks.
Oh crud. You came here wanting to talk to Ai again, but if you were honest about that, that would sound really creepy after only meeting her earlier today. Unless of course you phrase it in a romantic way, but that sounded hard to do. You could try to play it off as a coincidence, but then you’d have to make a fake excuse as to why you’d come to the track and field section of the station.
