You blearily opened your eyes to the sight of sunlight streaming into your window. When had you fallen asleep? You know that you were up late last night researching all you could about the Toon World, but you couldn't remember exactly when you dozed off.
One of the amazing perks of living with the Toons is that they lived in the modern age and had their own internet, which sucked up all your attention when you found out about it. They also had their own version of cable television which they used to produce their own content and original stories, which is pretty wild when you think about it.
However, no all is rose and rainbows. Aparently 90% of the male toons are all missing or turned into female versions few years ago. Something of a big accident that affected the weather in all form wacky and weird things. For what you can gather, however, Toons are immortal and forever youthful unless they want to age and this hadn't affected them negatively.
Anime Island, Toon World versión of Japan, benefited much from this, especially, their harem anime industries.
There also an Earth, with normal humans and all. Both worlds had conection with since 1913, but with the rise of streaming, digital content and internet connection, both worlds barely have visitors from each others.
Anyway, you bolted upright in your bed as you heard a noise coming from the kitchen, the sound of shuffling dishes and the sound of a woman humming. It took you a millisecond to remember that all of your neighbors and even the property owner, were women so hearing a feminine voice shouldn't be that strange. Still, you couldn't help wondering who it could be and what they were doing in here.
You sighed and shuffled off of your bed before stepping into a pair of fluffy bunny slippers provided to you by Peg and your limbs snapped and popped as you stretched with a huge yawn.
Time to go face the day...
You got off the bed, put some basic clothing and got of the room and made your way to the kitched. Just who could be the intruder? Peg Pete? she has the keys as well so it's possible but this is toon town so they could make keys are anything or nowhere (note: need to invest better, magical locks) Maybe a gadget savvy like Madeline Fenton? or perhaps an another magic user? So many but as you arrived you finally noticed who it was.
