...an apologetic looking Rarity, who gently ask...
Equestria Invading
Chapter 13
"...hi." Rarity said in an almost sorry-sounding tone as she stood in front of Jack's dorm door. She had to crane her neck past her cleavage to see him, and even then his form was obstructed by her belly slightly plugging up his doorway.
Jack was visibly surprised to see Rarity in all her massiveness in front of his dorm. The young-adult Human cringed slightly as her belly flab came very close to touching him, even though she assent even in the doorway, technically.
"What do you want?" Jack replied curtly. He was expecting the same typical treatment that all ponies gave him. He was expecting that she personally took time out of her busy schedule to ridicule him at an obscure hour. He expected a hard belly bump to the ground and a scowl. He expected her to maybe even stuff him in a burlap sack and take him away somewhere.
...What Jack did NOT expect, however...
"Can I come inside and talk to you?" Rarity spoke in a now definite apologetic tone, catching Jack even more off guard then before. "Please?" She added sincerely.
With Jack's mind trying to come to grasps with the situation at hand, he made an impromptu decision on its behalf. "Uhhh.. sure?"
Before Jack could take back what he said, his world was abruptly filled with show white furred blubber as Rarity squeezed her bulk into his doorway. Jack stepped back a couple feet to get out of the way, and in no time to spare, the doorframe and a large portion of the surrounding wall exploded outwards as soft fat bulldozed through it like a hot knife through butter, offering no resistance.
Rarity brushed specks of drywall off of her blazer and shifted awkwardly. It was very clear that she was too big for Jack's living space. Her head bumped the ceiling and her heavy hips brushed along the sides of the adjourning walls. The one semi-spacious room had now become downright cramped, much to Jack's irritation. Her dominating body enveloped Jack in a shroud of darkness as she cast a shadow on to him, blocking out the rooms only source of light from the ceiling lamp.
A few more seconds of uncomfortable silence passed before it was broken.
"I'm sorry, okay!" Rarity shouted.
Jack froze in place as the word 'sorry' came out of Rarity's mouth, his right eye gave an involuntary twitch as he stared up at the behomoth pony. "...say what?"
"I'm sorry!...about...squishing you earlier..." Rarity replied sadly. "It wasn't...right." With a sigh, Rarity brought a bloated arm to her head and leaned her face into it, clearly exhausted. From what, however, Jack could only guess. Was it the mental training to lower herself to human standards and actuall apologized to one? Or was it...something else?
Without warning, Rarity shifted her bulk around Jack's room, making the whole thing shake as the floorboards cried out for sweet mercy, until her posterior was positioned towards his bed. In a fell swoop, the tubby plot came crashing down onto the piece of furniture. The springs tried their best to absorb the pressure of the Goliath pony, but when they failed, the job was passed down to the wooden frame, which had even less victory.
The bed frame came crashing to the floor in less then a second, barley making a crunch sound as it was muffled under several pounds of butt, the expensive piece of furniture quickly becoming wood mulch. Rarity did not seem to feel any remouse for this, most likely because she didn't even realize that she did it. It wouldn't have been the first time she broke something by just sitting on it. Jack however, had a more visible reaction.
"Rainbow Dash, Sonata, Derpy, they're my best friends. We would do anything for each other. We all lost something special to us during the war, which only made our friendships even stronger. So...when they tell me they want to..." Rarity paused for a moment, "...want me to partake in a...a...'serving of justice', she continued, finally finding the right words to make 'gang-squash a human' sound ladylike.
"...I'm not in a position to say no to them." She fumbled her fingers together, unsure of how to proceed. This was not something she does often. Correction, she has literally never done this. She's wonder up to her mistakes before, always eager to put things behind others and make amends. But that was with ponies. This was with a Human.
"I just...I don't want to be the Pony streotype that humans have made for us!" Her voice risen a few notches, not out of anger, but clearly emotion. "I don't want you to think I'm just a snobby princess who thinks she's better than everyone she meets! I want you to know that I don't...I don't hate humans! I just...I just..."
But before Rarity could continue...
