"War...Is messy."

The lecture hall's lights were dimmed down for the speaker at the front of the room to be illuminated by a single spotlight, making evreyone's attention focus on him.

"Even if a conflict ends decisively, there’s always destruction left behind. In Equestria, Celestia's inability to surrender only prolonged the inevitable. This determination to hold onto power backfired. When the South African Front front broke, and Equestria retreated, there was no mercy on the Human side."

The tension in the audience was so thick in the air that one could slice it with a knife like hot butter. But even then, there was a subdued silence that kept even the most rowdy in check. One could say it was for respect of the Speaker, another could say they were fanatically intrested in his speech. But no matter what, anyone says, there is no doubt that this was a controversial topic they were listining to.

"We humans raped, murdered, and deported millions of people as we invaded Canterlot. This is what happens in modern warfare. Everything is affected because the scale of the conflict is not limited to just fields. It’s entire cities, economic zones, population centers. Because the Pony's did not surrender, the outcome of the war came through bloodshed."

"Millions more died, us Humans claimed land for ourselves, and Equestria was divided." said Jack Boss as he glanced down at his papers set on the podium. His professor had assigned the class to make a presentation on a controversial topic. He, of course, chose the one that no one elce dared to touch.

The Equstrian Invasion.

"The war is finally over. It has been over for ten years now. The ponies have lost. Their plan to enslave humanity has failed. Hundreds of thousands of ponies are dead. Hundreds of millions humans dead. Homes destroyed. Their nation was shattered and near annihilation. All because they underestimated humanity and our refusal to lose the very thing thing that makes us human: Freedom."

"The rebuilding of Equestria was relatively quick, and the country has become close allies with nations such as the United States of America and the United Kingdom. The formerly Isolationist Empire Is now one of the largest economies In the world, and a first world, democratic nation."

The rest of Jack Boss's presentation went on to criticize Humanity's treatment on ponies during the war, shoving them in cramped interturnment camps, the fascist movements that sprung up after the war that were downright racist towards ponies, and what would have happened if Celestia had just surrendered to avoid all the extra conflict.

When he was finally done the lights brightened followed by applause from the audience and the professor. The lights revealed his peers, a relatively small but still substansial amount of humans mixed with ponies. When the war ended, Princess Twilight Sparkle negotiated with the United Nations that they would help restore there cities and homes, but in return human refugees would get to live in equestria, or vice versa. Some live in racial only settlements, others share with each other. Think of it as a long-term plan to get the two races to coexist with each other. Having human children grow up with pony foals might help ease tension.

But even Twilight knew that the power of friendship and magic would not be enough to heal the wounds between ponies and humans. It would take generations for it to happen.

Jack Boss returned to his seat on the bleacher like chairs in the lecture hall. Along the way he almost tripped and fell to the floor thanks to certain pony's leg obscuring his path at the last moment. Jack gave the pony a look, but she just turned her head and scoffed, as if interacting with him was beneath her.

Ten years after the ponies came to Earth and Jack still had a hard time adjusting to seeing them evreywhere he went. Sometimes they were brilliant, sometimes they were ruthless, and their seemingly erratic behavior scared him, especially when he was a kid. Their average height was 9' 7'', making them tower over humans in evrey sence of the word, with anything under 7 ft being considered short. Human infrastructure had to be remodled due to the ponies presence, and older buildings that couldent be facelifted were dubbed 'inhospitable' by the ponies standards.

They were also really, really fat.

All of them, wheather or not they're male or female, are huge, giant masses of fat. Jack found himself on average evrey pony he meets, his head only reaches where the belly meets the breasts and or moobs. More immediately though were their stomachs. It was completley normal for a pony's belly to be stretched three feet in front of them and almost down to their feet. They were 6 ft wide from hip to hip, almost as wide as Jack was tall, with legs like tree trunks. The typical pony chest were usually flabby breasts that covered another roll over their stomach. Their faces had cheeks two inches out from the rest of their face, and beneath their chins was a roll of fat that connected their head to their body. When you put a human and a pony next to each other, there is no doubt that one is lithe, and the other was giant, fat dripping from every inch of them.

Jack didn't care though, and neighter did the ponies. It didn't affect them In anyway, and well, as long as they were still healthy, who cared?

Sitting down, Jack took out his notebook to take notes on the next speaker's presentation. Something about Nuclear Weapons and America. Jack did not care though, all that much. The same topic was talked about twice before he got to go up. When it comes to controversial topics people sure like to get uncreative.

Jack yawned and stretched his arms above his head. He already had the notes to the thing down, so he figured he could afford to sit this one out. Leaning back, however, his body was met with...
