"Uh, yeah I am. Hotar-U model. What did you think I was?" Hotaru said.
"I don't know. A cyborg? An alien that looks like a robot?" you say.
"Tihi, good points I guess."
"Did you...say 'tihi'?"
"Hey, it's hard to laugh without lungs. I tried synthesizing an artificial laugh for me, but they always sounded weird."
"Wierder than just saying 'tihi' instead?"
"Yes," Hotaru said. She was so quick to answer, you can't help but wonder what those artificial laughs sounded like. "What are you doing here anyway? Can't a robot girl tinker on herself in private?" Hotaru tried to cross her arms, but forgot she only had one at the moment, so she just awkwardly holds her arm in front of her chest.
A good question. Why were you prying into a robot girl's private abode? You carefully choose your answer. "I just wanted to see the garden. I haven't been here before, so I wanted to check it out. Then I found this shed and I was curious. The door was unlocked, so I thought I'd look in. That's when I found you powered down. Speaking of which, how did that happen?"
Hotaru's face turned to nervousness. "Wha-what do you mean?"
"I mean, I don't know much about robots, but shouldn't you keep a closer eye on your power level? Like, what if I wasn't here to plug you in? What would've happened?"
"Well, I was busy. I broke a component in my arm yesterday so I had to fix it," she said pointing to her arm on the work bench.
"And it took you all night to do that?"
"NO! Fixing it was super easy. I just spent the rest of the day tuning it up so it wouldn't break again. Then I spend all night tinkering with it, trying to give it more functionalities. Here look! I made a blueprint for a design I'm working on." Hotaru walked over to the cabinet on the far wall, but her charging cord wasn't that long so it unplugged from her back once she got too far. "Power disconnected. 1% power remaining. Initiating shut down." Hotaru said in her robotic voice, followed by a power down sound. Her eyes turned black and her head slouched down as she turned off.
"For a robot, you're not too bright are you?" you said to the silent machine. "Or wait, you're technically an ai, so this derpy behavior would fit for you, wouldn't it?" You look at the powered down robot girl. Now that you were
