You fiddle around on the Hotaru bot, looking for anyway to activate her. Then your finger passes over a small hatch on her back, which flips open. You curiously look inside and see a plug. You look around to find something that can fit into it.

After a bit of searching, you find an inch wide red tube-wire, with two prongs at the end that looked like they would fit into the outlet in Hotaru's back. Following the wire, it's plugged into the wall. You theorize that it must be like a charging cable, or something like that. Either way, you decide to try it out. You grab the end of the wire and plug it into Hotaru bot's back plug.

Once you're done, you stand back and wait for something to happen. You then wait for a bit longer. Then a bit longer. Then you wonder if what you found was a fluke. Or worse, that you actually broke her in some way. Then suddenly her eyes light up, forming a blank yellow circle in each of the black orbs that are her eyes and a sound comes out of her similar to your old laptop starting up.

She sits up and says in a monotone, robotic voice. "1% power recharged. Initiating restart. Please wait." You look over as you wait and see loading circles spin in her eyes. It's kind of endearing in a way to see these robotic quirks of hers. Then the loading circles disappear in place of a dark dot in a thin circle on her yellow eyes. Hotoru blinks, showing the first sign of humanity in her. "Wait, 1%?" Hotaru said. This time her voice has more emotion, but still sounds robotic as if she were speaking through a voice changer. "Ah shit, did I forget to plug myself in again? Wait, then who..." Hotaru looks around and finds you standing awkwardly next to her.

You wave and say, "Hi, I'm Shujiko," introduce yourself. "Uh, are you a robot?" you ask, not knowing what else to ask about.

Hotaru blinks her mechanical eyes before saying:
