Before he knew it, Jack was back in Zoe’s bedroom. He was dumped out unceremoniously onto her desk along with the miscellaneous objects which she pushed to one side. Jack stood up to face his captor.

“Whatever it is you’re going to do to me, just do it! Kill me, whatever! But I am not doing anything else for you! I’m done!”

Zoe watched him as he yelled up at her, waiting for the fight to go out of him. It didn’t take long; he was tired, malnourished and weak. 

“Jack, you made a big mistake today.” She said calmly. “And the worst part is you’re not even apologising.”

“Fuck you. I have nothing to apologise for.”

“We’ve been here before, haven’t we? You do something that upsets me, refuse to apologise and swear up and down you didn’t even do anything wrong.”

“Oh my god, Zoe, enough! I kissed someone else! What a terrible person I am! I must be the first guy to ever kiss another woman! Have I not repented enough?! I shrink myself and give myself to you, you enslave me, torture me, have your friend torture me and now you’re about to hurt me for the sin of wanting to escape?! Go ahead. Do what you want. But whatever you do, you’re not doing it because I hurt you; you’re doing it because you’re a scary, sociopathic fucking bitch!”

Once again, Zoe watched Jack expel all his hot air until he could expel no more. He was practically panting from unleashing the last few days of built up aggression. Despite Jack’s attempts to get through to her, to make her see how evil she had become, it didn’t matter. In truth, she had already decided what she was going to do to him, and nothing he said would change that.
