Freya rounds a corner into a particular empty alley. Not as empty as she was expecting though, as she soon finds herself face to face with Zoe waiting at the other end.
“Hey.” she says curtly. “I think you have something of mine.”
Freya looks back and sees Jacki, blocking the way she came in. She was cornered. She placed a hand over her apron pocket, shielding Jack.
“Listen, ladies, I have no idea what you’re talking about…”
“Bullshit. You took that glass he was in, and then you suddenly had to make yourself scarce.” Zoe took a step towards her.
Freya took a step back. “I… I don’t know the full story here. But keeping him like this is… cruel! It’s insane! Whatever he did, surely he doesn’t deserve this!”
Jacki speaks up. “That’s right; you don’t know the full story. So maybe you don’t want to be getting involved, huh?”
“Besides…” Zoe began, her voice dripping with confidence and malice. “You don’t want to end up joining him, do you?”
“What..?” Freya’s voice quivered.
“How’d you think he got so small in the first place? The stuff that shrunk him - we’ve got plenty of it left. How about it? I’m sure Jack won’t mind sharing his duties; pampering us, entertaining us… pleasuring us…”
“They’re lying!” Jack called up to Freya, who was visibly shaken. “They didn’t do this to me! They can’t shrink you, Freya! Please believe me!”
Zoe closed the gap between her and Freya, peering into her apron pocket. “Ah, there you are, Jack. So nice of you to finally speak up. From the dumb expression on your friend’s face, I was starting to think she really did have no idea what I was talking about…” She held her hand out expectantly. “Freya, is it? I’ll give you one chance to hand him over, or you can spend the rest of your life as our slave.”
For Freya, there was no choice. She plunged her hand into her pocket, grabbed Jack in a tight fist and hurriedly deposited him into Zoe’s palm.
“NO! FREYA PLEASE, NO!!” Jack protested as he tumbled helplessly in Zoe’s hand.
“Good girl.” Zoe giggled, closing her fist around Jack and stashing him in his rightful place inside her bag. “Oh, and if I were you, I wouldn’t tell anyone about this. Not that anyone would believe you.”
With that, Jacki and Zoe walked away victorious. Inside Zoe’s bag, Jack kicked and screamed, letting out guttural cries of frustrated anguish. This couldn’t be happening. He was free! How could he be in this stupid bag again?! He no longer cared about appeasing his goddess; his one and only shot at freedom was gone, and he was sure he’d be dead soon.
“YOU BITCHES! I’LL KILL YOU! I SWEAR I WILL KILL YOU!”
“Be quiet in there!” Zoe scolded, giving the bag a shake. Jack screamed as the assorted items jumbled and fell around and onto him, but fell silent. “Good, now stay that way until we get home.”
