An inevitability of our civilisation is that it will eventually fall, just like empires in the outside world. Our mother will live a long life, but she will die eventually. Her body will cease to function. We will be unable to live off the resources of her body as it will no longer produce them. Unless someone helps us, we will be forced to return to the hardship our species faced before the Colonise Project. We would be letting down the future generations we promised to nurture and protect. That is why we must come up with a Contingency Plan for when our mother dies and to safeguard our species’ future.
Our one and currently only solution to this problem is to move the population of the civilisation into the body of another Prodigan. It would ensure our safety of future generations and cause the least disruption to their lives. The problem is our mother hasn’t gone public with our civilisation’s existence yet and she may never go public with it. Most Prodigans still do not care about our kind. It's likely they would refuse to accept housing tiny people in their body and even if they did, they might treat our species like slaves rather than people to share their body with. There are only two other Prodigans who know of our existence. They are both very kind, but they are similar in age to our mother. They will likely die before or soon after our mother.
Our mother gave us a mission to cure her infertility. This may end up becoming necessary for our civilisation to continue. Who could we trust more to move into once our mother dies than her own blood child. If we can make our mother capable of bearing children, not only would we make her very happy, but we have someone to move into when our mother dies. Our mother can teach this child to be kind to our species and how to care for us. We trust our mother will raise this child just like how she raised us and it will inherit her kindness and love for the smaller species of this world. The child would have to be female as the female body produces more resources and has more room to expand our civilisation than the male body. Even if the child is male, we would still be very happy for our mother and welcome our big little brother into our family. We are currently trying our best to figure out how to make our mother fertile. Though it will take several years before our mother dies, it is best to find a solution to her inability to become pregnant as soon as possible in order to spare future generations from the inevitable collapse of our civilisation.
