Kevin switched off his headset and turned to his wife. “We should head back home.” His face was still white with fear. “I don’t think we can trust them anymore.”

Brittany made certain that her headset was off as well. “Oh, quit being a wet blanket sweetie. Those are our friends we’re talking about.”

“But they just ate hundreds of Lilliputians.”

“So?”

“We’re Lilliputians! What if they turn on us?”

“They won’t,” Brittany rolled her eyes. “They’re only messing with Lilliputians who volunteered to being eaten and crushed. They’re not harming Lilliputians that are unwilling.”

“Are you two okay?” Felicia’s concerned voice filled the pendant. “We can stop this if you want.”

Brittany fumbled and flipped her headset on before Kevin could. “We’re great!” She shouted with glee. “Do you and Nick do this kind of thing all the time?”

“Nick likes to play with Lilliputians more than me. He’s obsessed with them.” Felicia let out a half giggle as she watched her husband strip out of his clothes except for his tight white underwear. Defined against the white cotton fabric was his bulge. “Personally, I can’t stand the things.”

“Things?” Kevin asked after flipping his headset on.

“I mean, Lilliputians. Sorry.” Felicia’s cheeks turned red from embarrassment. “I didn’t mean to offend you guys.”

“No offense taken.” Brittany said. “Kevin and I never thought about Lilliputians when we were normal. I guess we never saw them as people until now.”

Felicia sighed. She didn’t understand society’s notion that Lilliputians were normal in any sense of the word. Even her friends were turning into liberal hippies perpetuating the idea that Lilliputians—or themselves for that matter—were normal. She loved her friends and wouldn’t dream of hurting them; but face it, they were no longer normal. They were things. Specks. Dust. Lilliputians.

On the other hand, Felicia understood why her husband insisted the Lilliputians were normal. Lilliputians looking up at Nick as a god always got him rock hard and excited. Felicia didn’t share his same views, but she did love the crazy sex that came with the Lilliputians.

Kevin looked out the pendant and wondered what Nick was planning. He did not want to see his bud naked—especially because he was six-miles tall. Brittany sensed her husband’s discomfort and knew he was going to spoil the fun for her.

“Hey Felicia?” Brittany asked. “Did you ever get that pedicure you were going on and on about?”

“Oh I did.” Felicia smiled. With her free hand, she removed her black leggings that ended at her upper thigh. Once her legs and feet were bare, she brought the pendant a few inches from her toes. Her nails were painted red with white flowers printed on the big toenail. “I really like this new place and they’re priced well too. The lady that did them up didn’t take long either.”

Nick grinned and knew what Brittany was doing. Inside the pendant, Kevin was staring out with an opened mouth. Felicia’s feet were almost a mile long and her toes were as long as a commercial airplane. Brittany looked over at her husband and almost laughed, he looked like a kid staring at his first pair of tits.

“You should really show them off honey.” Nick pinched the pendant from Felicia and lowered himself to the other end of the bed where Felicia had the soles of her feet on the bed. Her legs were bent and her chest against her knees. Nick lowered the pendant until it made contact with Felicia’s toe. “Come on out.”

Without saying a word, Kevin unbuckled himself from the vinyl seat and walked out the nearest exit. He opened the door and looked out at the vast red surface. He always tried to steal a peek at Felicia’s feet when at work or visiting their home. Now, her toe alone was like a landscape. He wanted to step out, but he felt his body frozen at the doorway.

Using his specialized glasses, Nick watched his hesitant friend at the doorway of the pendant. Then, from behind, he saw Brittany giving her husband a shove. Kevin fell face first onto Felicia’s smooth toenail. He flipped on his back in time to see his giggling wife shutting the door. Nick lifted the pendant from Felicia’s foot and then walked over on the bed near the nightstand where the smartphone full of Lilliputians was.

“Nick, don’t leave him there.” Felicia whined.

“Why not?” Nick asked. “Kevin loves your feet. I’m actually doing him a favor by leaving him there.”

“He likes my feet?” Felicia questioned. Then, remembering the headset and that Kevin could hear her “is that true Kev? You like my feet?” Felicia looked at the little dot that contrasted against the white flower on her nail. She had a strong urge to twitch her toes, as if there was a bug on it. That’s what Kevin felt like to her—a bug. A thing. If it were any other Lilliputian, she would have flicked her toe in order to get rid of the nasty little thing.

But this was her friend. She stopped herself from wiping out his existent with a slight movement of her toe. It was difficult—very difficult; like trying not to scratch an itch. She kept her toes still and looked down at her former co-worker on her big toe.

“I—uh,” Kevin stammered. “I think they’re nice.” He heard himself say.

Nick plopped on the bed beside his wife and held the pendant with Brittany still inside. “So Britt, anything you want to see?”

“I want to see you having more fun with the Lilliputians.” She said. Nick’s good looks astounded Brittany. His five o’clock shadow had little hairs taller and thicker than she was.
