Celestia can't decide and simply sends all ...
Ultimate Human in Equestria Story
Chapter 36
Celestia suddenly smiled and slowly shook her head. Of course, the answer was obvious. Each and every one of Twilight's friends had shared in the burden of helping and protecting Equestria, so each of them deserved to share in her little secret.
She turned to open her bedside drawer and withdrew a sheet of paper, conjured a quill and inkwell out of thin air, and began to write.
"...I have made a discovery most wonderous and ask that you and your companions come to Canterlot immediately to share in this wonderful occasion," Twilight read aloud before carefully laying down the letter on the table. "... and that's all it says. She wants us to come to Canterlot right away so that she can show us whatever she's found. This is so exciting! I wonder what kind of discovery she's made? Ooh, I don't even want to try and speculate, any guess on what it might be?"
She looked over to her collected friends who were sitting across the table in the Map room inside her castle, and already Pinkie Pie began bouncing up and down in her seat and flailing her hooves around.
"Ooh, ooh, maybe she's found a new spell that can change the weather and make cakes and donuts fall from the sky, or maybe a self-regenerating cupcake that grows back no matter how many times you eat it!"
"Only you can immediately think of food at a time like this, Pinkie Pie," Rarity, who was on Twilight's right side, deadpanned before reaching a hand up to fluff her mane. "In any case, another visit to Canterlot would not be unwelcome, as it would allow me to show off my new ensemble to the princess. Goodness knows a little more exposure in the royal court wouldn't hurt, I might even be able to attract some new clientele to my Canterlot boutique."
"Um, I think a self-regenerating cupcake doesn't actually sound all that bad," Fluttershy, who was on Twilight's left, quietly added to the conversation before a voice with a rough country drawl interrupted.
"Whatever it is, if the princess felt the need to invite all of us then it might turn out to be something that she can't handle on her own. It might be a good idea to be a little bit on the cautious side if ya catch my meanin'. Mah gut feelin's tellin' me this ain't gonna be an ordinary meeting with the Princess. Seems lately like every time we're called do somethin' together somethin' ends up goin' horribly wrong" stated Applejack.
A nearby sky blue hand clapped her on the shoulder and a slightly raspy feminine voice filled the room. "Of course something's going to go wrong, and when it does we'll all be there to stop it. We've saved Equestria, like, what, a dozen times now? When all of us are together there's nothing we can't handle."
All of Twilight's friends nodded in concert and gave small grunts of affirmation, to which Twilight smiled widely and slapped her palms down on the table. "Okay then, it's settled. Everypony go gather a few things for a few days in Canterlot and we'll all meet up at the train station "
