Since you were new in the world, you decided to go after Shantae.
After using a spell on a compass to aim towards the nearest and large source of magic, you used it to look for Shantae,
She seemed to be running around the area, barely staying in one place for long.
You wanted to call out for her, but didn't want to scare off the Tinkerbat.
Eventually, you heard the sounds of hairwhipping and a small explosion. You sighed for a moment before calling out, "Shantae?"
The purple-haired Half-genie walked into your view and had a frown on her face. "The Tinkerbat either was a decoy or was just scavenging, as I wasn't able to get anything from it."
"Did I scare it off?" You asked.
Shantae smiled at you before shaking her head. "No. you were a great distraction as you kept chasing after it."
You held back your frown, as you expected the compass to point towards Shantae. Perhaps the compass didn't point at her because because she was only half genie and the Tinkerbat was a full magic being? As in her human half was interfering with the compass?
"So what now?" you asked.
"Well, I guess we head to Scuttle town. If you can't find a place to stay, I guess you can stay with me," Shantae replied, rubbing her chin as she frowned once more. "But you have to promise to not be a pervert."
"If I move in with you, I promise not to be a pervert," You said.
She smiled before saying, "Then follow me, [Y/N]!"

She smiled before saying, "Then follow me, [Y/N]!"
