You followed close behind the rabbit shaped Mobian with piqued curiosity. The fact that she was apparently evil wasn't nearly as interesting as how she had found her way your little hideaway was a feat that you could not have prepared for. How did she even get here? Did she make use of the Chaos Emeralds, or was it by some other more esoteric means?
Your lips burned with many questions. Unfortunately, your incorporeal fotm (and yhe roboticization of your back up bodies meant that you won't be getting answers any time soon.
Vanilla moseyed along the castle corridor until she came upon a wooden door, which she opened to reveal a well lit room. You flew in before her and immediately stopped in your tracks at what you saw.. The chamber was furnished with multiple overstuffed chairs, an ornate chaise lounge, and was illuminated by a crackling fireplace.
Above the fireplace mantle hung a huge oil painting that depicted Vanills in the nude laying on her belly with her hands crossed beneath her chin. You remembered this room.It was supposed to be a library and alchemy lab, but Vanilla converted it into a den of some sort den of relaxation.
There was not a sign of all your beaker and alembics, though the bookshelves thankfully remained.
Instead of your tomes of magic and potion craft, however the shelves were stocked with a eclectic selection of textbooks, technical manuals, as well as... Wow! There were books here from many different dimensions. It seemed that this version of Vanilla was not on well read, but well traveled as well.
Just who was this lady?
Vanilla sauntered into the room, and with wine bottle in one hand she walked to the bookshelf right next to you. On reflex you moved out of the way as she reached for a
"Ah, now's the time to relax and unwind. Think I might enjoy a nice Velvet Sparkle novel for tonight. Her prose is just so raw and intricate."
With that she pulled out a gray book and shuffled over to one of the chairs, flopped into it, and began to read.
What happens next?
