The base was pretty colorful and bulbous, and the towers were even oval-shaped with a shiny metallic finish among other details, even the robots were even spherical or even egg-shaped, highly advanced, and pretty compact due to the preferred geometry.
Despite the apparent implication of slight industrialization, it was far more sophisticated than initially believed.
There are very few that fit that criterion but all of them were pretty much on the Super Villian side and one seemed more appropriate given the close proximity of the Sonic Multiversal Cluster.
Eggman.
Sonic has been a setting where dimensional or multiversal travel is either rare or even just uncommon, but isn't unheard of among many of those familiar to the multiverse traveling were very few, but among these were Sonic, his gang, and even Eggman himself, in fact, there were multiple Eggmen and is a center point of Sonic Prime show planning to either conquer or destroy their cluster.
Frankly, it was something that would worry you because it would involve them becoming a multiversal threat but you calmed down knowing that, despite the famous feats of the Doctor and his insanity, there will be always bigger fishes around in the multiversal stream and the good Doctor wouldn't be able to do anything against the many horrors and terrors that he could face.
But one being here proves to be a problem.
You could end it, collapse the dimension, and be done with it. Still, you hold a lot of cache of magical resources here and your clones, and losing it all would be a gross waste of relics and knowledge and very unneeded, some of the rooms of the castle were accessible but only a mage can get into the more enchanted and hidden passages that regardless, those that were accessible contain books whose spells and topics are impossible to decipher unless you have Arcanum blood.
There were other ways to decipher it, but all required magic either way, and Eggman, for all his appreciation for the Occult, lacks any tac about it.
He is the guy with max INT stat but WIS is his dump stat.
