You walked back to the town's streets, unlike the first time, you were here under an invisibility spell urged by Twilight Sparkle herself, you were doubting that what she said had some merit and you were a pretty capable sorcerer even if a bit newbie on that side, however, you felt confident on your ability to defend yourself.
That being said, you were also the person who believes the term "Better safe than sorry." and that part of you went to take Twilight's advice and use it, however, you were almost considering dropping it as you saw very little populace compared to when you entered the first time but you digress since you were close enough to the main building you were about to crash in; the unmistakable gingerbread-like house
Talking about the building.
You weren't too convinced of this arrangement - While it looks like it can take more people in it and with your comparative size, space won't be a problem but even then but things simply don't feel right, or at least, it feels weird, going to them was quite a surprise, more when coming on the fact that they agreed on hosting you up and a bit more so knowing that Pumpkin was under Twilight's tutelage, the filly must be quite grown up for that, at least you assume this dimension has her older enough to be an apprentice of Twilight because it makes no sense for her to teach a literal toddler with magic, no matter how gifted is in the area.
For some reason, you felt rather nervous, having stopped to see the place in its true glory, maybe it is on the prospect of seeing Pinkie? You honestly didn't expect to see more of the Mane Six so soon after Twilight. It can also be on meeting more ponies in general, you don't know what Twilight had talked about with the Cakes, for all you know, they'll think you were just another pony but would they be more accepting as soon they see you?
"Then again, the mares that saw me were the opposite of freaked out" You thought idling adding that they - being a matriarchy due to the obvious size difference between gender - would think that you are not a threat at all. The ponies who own this place, especially the two other females will likely think you're a weakling due to being small for being a male despite being quite strong in the magical aspect, something you hope Twilight left out.
You sighed and pressed on and entered the building

Mrs. Cake was a very patient mare - despite what her size would indicate to the other mares, she is a quite an intelligent and observant mare, or at least, believes to be; unlike what other mares think of her, she wasn't looking forward to this - well, kind of... She was still a mare and when she saw the young man ballsily walking in the open (she was surprised how nopony hadn't clawed him right there and there.) she was tempted to call him but ultimately went against it when Twilight came to her asking her to host him - which was also a surprise - but she was about to refuse for multiple reasons; she runs a bakery and is a mother of two, three if counting Pinkie and with a herd and so her lust had been long tempered making her saner than many mares, giving her more but after giving a bit of consideration - her children are grown, they weren't little foals anymore that needs her every day, Pinkie was a self-sufficient mare now with a side job despite her childish mannerisms and Carrot was looking on expanding the herd, after all, they were on the smaller side of things - mostly thanks to her.
"Maybe I shouldn't have been too possessive with him" She thought, remembering the time she met Carrot, a pony no native to the town that came under certain circumstances, things led to another and made him seek her for her protection against other ravenous mares a deal was struck and the herd was formed which reminded her on her current situation; unfortunately, this new stallion - or male on this case - won't get much of the same luck Carrot had during the day once mares start to make plans around him and frankly, she is going to need help on the bakery; Pinkie was currently out of the town. Carrot and Pound were away somewhere in the town, the former was looking to expand the herd and the latter was looking to make one, she wasn't worried about Pound since it's her son, and most mares here know her reputation of being quite territorial.
She sighed, honestly, she didn't wanted that reputation but sadly, isn't unwarranted.
Anyway..
She only accepted for two things; company - she needed an extra hand and if Twilight's say was true, he has magic which made said help easier now that she is gonna be three pairs of hands short, second was for a more idealistic as well somewhat pragmatic reason and was to hitch or apparent an herdship with him and her daughter, Pumpkin Cake. The idea comes from Pumpkin getting lonely as of late, all the other colts in her normal classes have been long taken and she is at the age where she is starting to take interest in the other genre, and chances are that she is in her heat, thanks to the magical tutoring she has been handling her heat better after some spell that allows mitigating the worse of it.
At least, no worse than her first heat. Oh yeah, she remembers that episode... It almost traumatized her twin brother - and Carrot too.
She thought it would be a good idea - and in a good time too - for her daughter to be on a herd, it will snap out of her funk and it would also scare off the multitude of ravenous mares looking to bone the male although knowing that he'll be working under her would be enough to scare them off, Twilight was less than enthused about it, she could tell her expression that she did wanted to have him for herself but circumstance forced her to "give" him away sort of speak.
"Why didn't she offer him to sleep with her? Her bed should be big enough for both." She thought in question, Stallion - or males in general - aren't exactly prudes or innocently naive like foals, they're lecherous and lustful as any mare. Then again, she was born and raised in Canterlot, things there work way differently than in any other town or city in Equestria and she suspected that she didn't give much thought about it mostly out of politeness and because she is a Princess - she has to maintain that façade of purity, after all, is a narrative the alicorn royalty has maintained for centuries.
Now, she doesn't know if said façade is true or not but knows that Twilight - being an ascended alicorn - really wanted to pull the deal off as soon the herdship with her daughter was involved.
In hindsight, she was asking a lot of Twilight given that as a young mare, she was looking forward to him as much and she offered her expertise of magic to her daughter but she also had to understand certain rules that need to be followed; her home, her business, her demands, although she was somewhat grateful that she didn't pull the "I'm Royalty Card" to force her up then again, it'll be unbecoming of her to do so since she is also the Princess of Friendship.
Talking about the deal...
Where was the male?
She had several minutes already here waiting for him, maybe Twilight changed her mind?
Just all of a sudden, she saw him appear right before her eyes - as if a veil was dropped off to reveal him - her momentary surprise was quickly replaced by confusion then into a tiny realization; he was invisible, likely under Twilight's counsel to not get captured. She gave him a quick yet very inquisitive look at him; despite being a different species, his facial features were similar to a pony although his eyes were on the small side and a distinct lack of a protruding muzzle - "are humans related to apes, perhaps?" Then there is his attire; He was wearing some robes with glowing blue runes on them and a satchel resting on his hip.
As for his expression...
"So... You're the... human Twilight talked about?" She asked, the human, dumbly nodded. He looked awestruck, his eyes wide and directed to her, exploring every inch of her body in a way she felt a bit uncomfortable by his gaze, she knew what sort of gaze she was greeted with, but on the other hand, she was quite pleased and somewhat flattered that she still has that effect on males although she hoped that his gaze changes over to her daughter once she wakes up and goes downstairs.
