Bowmistress vs Void Witch
You had a few doubts before, but after seeing just how incredibly powerful Reeva proved to be, you decided to trust that she'd be able to defeat Xiao'Hong, after all, if she was anything like her 1st event self, or even the second, she could definitely beat her one on one. But you still had a nagging feeling that you were unable to shake off.

"Step aside, archer. I'm only interested in killing the Summoner" Xiao'Hong said, gripping her crimson scythe.

"Absolutely not" Reeva replied with a ferocious glare, her whole body glowed with a slight blue aura and her stats increased some more. Where was this power coming from? You had no idea.

Then, Reeva dashed at her, disappearing from sight for a moment, reappearing right behind Xiao'Hong, who swiftly blocked her blades with her scythe. The fight had just begun and she had already gone for the kill! Reeva sure was something else. The two women displayed great skill with their weapons and abilities that were clearly beyond what normal people were capable of. You were still a bit concerned since you couldn't see Xiao's stats for some reason.

Despite being a witch, Xiao'Hong proved to be a competent enough physical fighter, Reeva was attacking her with all her might, dancing with her blades to try and slice her to bits, but she dodged and blocked nearly every strike, and the few cuts she did get easily healed. But as the minutes went on, Xiao'Hong grew frustrated, and began using her arcane prowess to try and put an end to the fight.

The evil witch began firing elemental energy blasts, she actually mastered nearly all elements except Light, which was a problem, since Thunder was Water's weakness, but Reeva was just as swift and dodged her lightning bolts without much issue. However she realized that she'd need her absolute best if she wanted to beat her, so, while dodging more of her magical projectiles, she picked up her bow and sheathed her katanas, firing a barrage of ice arrows at her with unreal speed, like a living machine gun.

You then could finally see Xiao'Hong's HP bar as she finally began taking damage from Reeva's arrows, unable to dodge them. It looked like she may have had the strength to compete, but not the speed nor the incredibly agility your trusty Water archer sported. One still had to wonder how she could move so fast with such a big ass, but you guessed it was best not to question some things in this game.

Reeva dashed in circles around Xiao'Hong, disappearing and reappearing as if continuously teleporting, firing her arrows from all directions, until Xiao'Hong performed a quick series of hand gestures and formed a Dark energy shield that pushed her away, her arrows didn't bounce off the shield though, they kept impaling it. You saw the characteristic purple shield bar overlapping her HP's, rapidly going down as Reeva quickly resumed hitting it.

The moment her shield crumbled, Reeva grabbed one of her katanas and put it on her bow as if it were an arrow. Your eyes widened in surprise, as that was what she did when she'd unleash her Ultimate Limit Burst. She infused an incredible amount of water elemental energy into it, making it look like an oversized arrow made of water before firing it, impaling Xiao'Hong in the chest. Much to your surprise, you saw purple blood emerge from her wounds, which was odd, as blood was only shown in cutscenes, since the game primarily used 2D sprites, but you knew this was something else already, and the only person who could explain was nowhere to be seen...

"H-How?! I'm as powerful as the gods!" Xiao'Hong growled in between coughing fits, spitting more blood as Reeva's katana remained in place, piercing her chest.

"That's where you failed, witch" Reeva said coldly, slowly walking towards her.
"Our Summoner has strengthened us far beyond the power of the gods themselves... You never stood a chance..." Reeva then, in one single swift motion, unsheathed her katana and cut Xiao'Hong diagonally. More purple blood gushed out from the new, larger wound, and as it splashed on the ground, it killed nearby plants as if it were a corrosive venom, but then it quickly evaporated. Her HP bar was not empty though, but it was rapidly going down, having been left critically low after Reeva's ultimate attack. It was at that moment that the other 3 girls arrived, having come in a rush.

"Reeva? What happened? Are you guys alright?" Serena worriedly asked while Xel-Ha looked like she was trying really hard to act like she didn't care.

"Yeah, we're alright, I was just putting trash in its rightful place" Reeva said with a huff, glancing at the dying Xiao'Hong.

"Her again?! Didn't we kill her twice already?" Neithhotep said, gathering dark energy in her hands.

"There's no need for that, Neith. She's dying" Reeva said.

"She's taking an awfully long time to die though" Xel-Ha finally spoke "A sloppy job as always, but what can be expected of a mere mortal of low birth? At least you didn't embarrass the Master by losing to such a pathetic sorcerer" She said, walking towards Xiao'Hong to taunt her, as in her lore, she had been deceived by a human sorcerer, who tricked her into revealing many secret techniques and spells that only the gods knew, which gave the humans another way to defeat them in the war hundreds of years ago... and as a result, she came to despise almost any and every human who wielded "forbidden powers".

"See? Even if a mortal tries playing god, they will always be a mere mortal" Xel-Ha said to the dying witch, who was trying really hard to remove Reeva's katana from her chest to no avail.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure your soul is destroyed for good this time, Buh-Bye!" Xel-Ha then conjured a light sword to finish the job with. To her surprise, Xiao'Hong slashed at her with her scythe, narrowly missing as Xel-Ha dodged the attack, but a few strands of hair from her head were sliced as a result.

"How dare you!" Xel-Ha growled and gathered light energy in her other hand to blast her to oblivion, but before she could do that, Xiao'Hong leapt into the air and infused dark energy into her scythe, aiming to land on you for a desperate final strike, intending to take you down with her. But the landing never occurred... She stopped in mid-air, caught in a giant bubble, much to her horrified frustration.

"You're not gonna hurt our Master" Serena said "But Xel-Ha must be right, you can't be very strong if a simple bubble like that was enough to catch you" She giggled. In response, the Void Witch screamed inhumanly and a dark purple aura surrounded her, bursting the bubble she was trapped in. Her HP was still decaying, you could see, and in fact, it was decaying even faster... whatever power she was using now, it was at the cost of her life force it seemed.

"You... miserable...! Not only you... defeated me... Twice! You... you enslaved me!" She said, almost unable to contain all of her anger. Reeva gestured at Neithhotep and Serena to step aside, as she intended to finish her off herself. Xiao'Hong's right hand morphed into a monstrous clawed one, irradiating a scary amount of dark magical energy.
"AND THEN YOU NEVER C-!" She tried to lunge at you, but Reeva stabbed her in the stomach with her second katana.

"It's over, filthy witch" Reeva gave her a look of utter disdain before kicking her in the face, making her land on her back, and by the look of it, she was too weak to get up. She grabbed her bow and readied an arrow to put her out of her misery, but instead of the look of despair she had before, the mad witch gave her a defiant smile.

"Okay then" She laughed darkly before she extended her morphed arm and fired a powerful combined beam, Thunder, Water, Fire, Earth and Dark elemental energies spiraled around each other, forming a drill-like effect, and it was aimed right at Reeva, who was caught off guard by this, not expecting any retaliation at this point.

Sensing the danger, and being aware that your avatar could tank stuff that the other units may not be able to, you pushed Reeva to the side, but this put you right into the beam's trajectory as it hit you right in the chest, much to everyone's shock. You felt an indescribable amount of pain, it was like burning and being electrocuted and frozen all at the same time, and the pain spread across your body like wildfire, making you fall on your back. Xiao'Hong was surprised as well, but she smiled in delight, making a few quick hand gestures and finishing by snapping her fingers before her own life force ran out and crumbled down to dust-like particles that quickly vanished into the air.

"Master!" Reeva was the first to come to your side, tears were already sliding down her face, as this was the very last thing she wanted, and was already blaming herself for it.
"Neith! Heal him!" She then ordered, which the Egyptian queen did without questioning, aiming both of her hands at you, then they began glowing with a light purple light.

"Hmm... that attack wasn't as powerful as we thought... or maybe the Master is much stronger than we give him credit for... There we go" She said in her characteristic soothing tone "But that was scary still"

"Wait a minute Neith... something's not right" Xel-Ha said.

"Huh? What's going on?" Serena asked.

"Don't you feel it Neith?" Xel-Ha asked and Neithhotep gasped.

"What's going on...?" Reeva asked while cradling your head in her arms. You were still conscious, but felt that something was rapidly sapping your strength.

"The damage was light at worst, but there's still a huge amount of corrupted dark power on him... I can see it, and also feel its vile stench... There's no doubt about it, she hit him with something... some curse or some kind of seal" Xel-Ha explained.

"But the last time she cursed someone, the curse was undone when we killed her!" Reeva said, sounding increasingly desperate.
"Can you remove it?"

"Well... about that... I'm a lot better at inflicting curses than curing them, you see..." Xel-Ha laughed nervously, but quickly regained her composure and nodded.
"I will try, but I'll need your help" She said to Neithhotep, who nodded and the two knelt close to you, to examine something that only the two of them could see...
