The compound doesn't work
If there was one person that Cathy both loathed and loved, it was Seth.
From the moment that he had taken over his company from his father, she had known that he was trouble. During their first meeting to discuss a large R&D project, he had swaggered into the Gulliverian-sized conference room several minutes late. And when discussions had begun, he had deliberately talked over her, even winking slyly once or twice to acknowledge what he was doing.
Cathy had been livid. She had clawed her way to the top, had both an MBA and master’s degree in electrical engineering from prestigious universities, and she didn’t like being pushed around at all. After the meeting, when they had been alone, she had angrily strode across the conference table. Normally, people would cower when she unleashed her wrath upon them, quivering like whipped dogs. But Seth had seemed more amused than anything else as she had shouted up at him.
“You’re a bully, do you know that?” She had demanded. He had smiled and then, quick as a viper, snatched her up in one hand.
“Oh, I know,” Seth had replied, plucking off her high-heeled pumps. Her nylons and skirt had come off next and by that point, she had been screaming threats at him, her toned legs paddling furiously through the air.
“Put me down! Put me down!” A few minutes earlier, she had been a perfectly-composed executive. But she had been swiftly reduced to a blubbering mess, her short ash-blonde hair in disarray, her make-up smeared so that she glared up at the giant with raccoon eyes.
When he had raised Cathy to his mouth, she had dug her French-tipped fingernails into the soft flesh of his lips. If Seth had even felt her frantic scratching, he had given no indication. The Gulliverian’s mouth had opened, the gleaming white slabs of his incisors clamping down on her lacy thong. With the precision of a surgeon, he had ripped off her panties with his teeth. The cold air against her exposed sex had been replaced by his warm tongue caressing her pussy and thighs. Cathy had howled at this violation. To her horror and shame, her body had betrayed her, responding to the sensations so that she stopped struggling and instead bucked her hips against the gargantuan slippery tongue beneath her.
Seth had let her go eventually, after she had orgasmed so many times that her inner muscles ached. After, when he had left her half-naked and panting on the conference table, her legs soaked with his saliva and her own vaginal secretions, she had sworn to never communicate with him again. But within a few days, she had called him and begged him for another meeting. And another. And another. As much as she hated to admit it, she belonged to him now.
And so, when he had spoken to her about this crazy plan to test the new ceramic compound, Cathy had reluctantly agreed. Deep down, she knew that he was up to no good, but she couldn’t find the courage to protest. Even when he showed up with a Brobdingnagian, she hadn’t dared to question him; in fact, she had called Security and told them to back down for the time being.
Now she stood outside, her arms crossed, worriedly tapping her foot on the ground as the Brobdingnagian woman brought the plane before her open mouth, pinching it as though it was a large jellybean. It was difficult to see most of her because of her extreme size; most of what Cathy saw was projected on the movie theater sized screens that they had constructed. Seth, on the other hand, she could see relatively well, although he still towered over all of the nearby buildings. He was dashing as usual, dressed in a slate-gray suit. The sort of man who looked like he could take over the world…and probably would someday.
He watched intently as the giantess slid the plane into her mouth and then swallowed, as though she were gulping down a pill. It was difficult for Cathy to fully comprehend that the Brobdingnagian had just swallowed several hundred people.
“Pull up the video feed. Let’s see if your stuff is the real deal or not,” Seth said. Cathy nodded at one of the techs, who pulled up the video feed on his tablet. The images on the huge screens changed, showing the perspectives of the various cameras. Cameras 1-6 showed the view from the outside of the plane, which was currently resting in a vast cavern with wrinkled pink walls. The plane’s exterior lights gave the fleshy landscape a hellish quality. Cameras 7-12 were inside the plane with the test volunteers. The majority of the volunteers were actually Blef-theon employees who were at risk to be laid-off, since the company had recently lost a major contract. For the most part, the test subjects were calmly sitting in their seats, although several glanced out the window with a mixture of wonder and apprehension.
The Brobdingnagian leaned down, her immense face dropping down from the sky. To Cathy and the other Blefuscudians, it was like watching the moon slowly gravitate closer and closer to the Earth. Cathy instinctively backed away but the giantess just squinted at the movie theater screens.
“Seth, what’s going on? I can’t see anything…those screens are really tiny,” she said over the headset.
“Everything’s fine,” Seth replied. Except it wasn’t. Several of the technicians had already noticed distressing information coming from the external sensors that they had placed on the plane. And everyone could see the thin wisps of smoke rising up from the plane’s exterior. The giantess’ stomach acids seemed to be stronger than the composite coating. Dread twisted Cathy’s own belly.
“Seth!” She called up to him. “We need to get those people out immediately!”
The giant was too busy staring at the screens. His dark eyes had taken on an eerie shine and his mouth was curled into a fiendish grin. Cathy’s voice broke as she screamed up at him. When he didn’t bother to look at her, she tried his girlfriend, the Brobdingnagian. But her comms line had been turned off and Cathy somehow knew that this was Seth’s doing.
The situation within the giantess’ stomach was rapidly becoming worse. When Cathy glanced up at the screens, she saw that the acid had burned through the skin of the plane and was beginning to enter the interior, yellowish fluid leaking through every possible opening. The volunteers had also realized the danger that they were in and pandemonium had broken out as people shrieked and tried to find an escape. They looked like cattle on their way to the slaughter, trapped in an enormous chute.
“Seth!” Cathy wailed. On her headset, the comms channel switched and she heard the cries of hundreds of people. All of the people in the plane, no doubt, their screams of terror delivered directly into her ear. That was more than enough for her. As fast as she could, she ran toward the giant.
He was still watching the awful spectacle on the screen, the sadistic lust apparent in his wide smile. Desperately, Cathy pounded on the side of his massive foot, trying to get his attention. But Seth’s gaze never left the screen, where the giantess’ acids had flooded the interior of the plane. The volunteers fought each other as they tried to get away from the lethal liquid, which destroyed everything that it touched. Seats smoked and melted, as did the flesh and clothing of the horrified people. Cathy stopped beating at Seth’s foot just in time to see a wave of acid wash over a cluster of four or five people. They jerked spasmodically, convulsing in pain as their skin dissolved. One young man turned toward a nearby camera, the flesh of his face sloughing off to reveal the gaping skull underneath.
It was at that point that Cathy knew that those volunteers were all doomed. With a terrible numbness, she watched as the acids consumed hundreds of people indiscriminately. Eventually, the caustic fluid reached the cameras and the video went dead, leaving nothing on the screens but blackness.
Cathy slowly gazed up at the Brobdingnagian, who seemed completely unaware of the fact that she had just killed all of those people. The giantess’ pretty face was as innocent as an infant’s and most likely, she was thinking about something completely unrelated to the massacre in her belly. Then Cathy looked at Seth and her vision tunneled with rage. Her anger exploded when he finally spoke.
“Well! That wasn’t supposed to happen,” he said casually.
“You…you…” Cathy was trembling so hard with raw hatred that she couldn’t form a coherent sentence. More than anything, she wanted him dead. Yet a part of her still feared and desired him, especially now that he had shown how ruthless he truly was. Still shaking, Cathy considered what to do.
