As told by Seth.
Sitting on Amanda’s shoulders was like sitting on top of the world. Every step she took quaked the earth as well as me my perch. The landscape was smooth and almost appeared flat. The blue ocean waters seemed like glass and unmoving. The dinner plate islands had white sands around its edges with lush green towards the center. One particular island had this flat grey rectangle, situated in the middle of the green island jungle.
“Right there Amada,” I told her via wireless headset. “Set me down over there.”
The testing area (island) was still a few steps away for Amanda across the shallow ocean. Amanda slipped her feet out of her sandals and took a step into the ocean. I could see a wave of white water explode from out under her feet. These swells resonated outwards, flooding nearby beaches and causing miles long ripples. The waters didn’t have time to calm before Amanda took another step, deeper into the ocean.
I looked down and could see the ocean wasn’t even deep enough for her toes to be submerged. I stroked Amanda’s bare skin under me as if she was my pet.
“Right there?” Amanda stopped walking upon reaching the testing area. From our height, we could only see little black dots scurrying around. There was also an object, about half my height, sitting in the center.
“That’s right. Let me down.” I said. Amanda lowered me to the ground with care. Everything came into better focus for me. There were hundreds of Blefuscudians running around, some were spraying the plane with the composite stuff through what looked like fire trucks. The composite stuff adhered to the exterior of the plane and left a glossy finish as if the plane was washed and waxed. The windows to the plane were still visible and see through through the composite stuff. “Where are you Cathy?”
“Look down.” She didn’t sound as happy as she was on the phone the other day. Amanda’s enveloping shadow probably had something to do with it. “Do you mind explaining her?” Cathy pointed a finger at my Brobdingnagian girlfriend.
“Care to change that tone?” I stepped forward, close to the one-inch woman. She recoiled at the sight of my sleek business shoes.
“Goddamnit Seth.” She sighed. “Please tell her to be careful.”
“I’ll tell her whatever I want.”
I could sense Cathy’s uneasiness around me. She changed topics without further hesitation. “The luxury plane is fully prepped. I’m having my team give one last coat of the compound as a finishing touch.”
“Is the plane fully loaded?” I asked. “With people that is?”
Cathy looked up to me with remorse. “It is.” She paused. “Can I ask why you wanted the plane loaded?”
“Camera’s onboard?”
“We have the fuselage fully monitored with interior and exterior cameras. They transmit their signal back to our mobile command post.” She was getting a bit more uneasy. “What are you planning, Seth?”
“I’m planning on testing the compound. I want to see if it’s all what you crack it up to be.” I smiled down at her. “If works like you said, then there’s nothing to worry about.”
“Seth, there are eight hundred people in there. I’m not going to put their lives in great harm. Now a simple test is fine, but nothing too—“
“Hey baby?” I looked up to my gigantic girlfriend, standing something like six miles for the little Blefuscudians. “I need one more favor from you.”
“What is it, honey?” She asked while pulling her dark brown hair back in a ponytail.
“See this thing next to me?” I took a step over Cathy and almost stepped on a few Blefuscudians as I walked across the cemented ground towards the plane. The engineers manning the hose abandoned and ran from me as I got closer, letting the composite shit spray all over the ground. “I need you to swallow it.”
“What is it?” Amanda lowered herself at the knees. Her legs spread as she bent over, surrounding the skies with her bare thighs. I could see her enormous camel toe against her cotton shorts. “It’s not going to kill me, is it?”
I laughed. “Of course not, babe. It’s just something we’re testing. It’s completely harmless. Just swallow it.”
“I don’t know…”
“Swallow it Amanda.” I could feel my face getting red.
“Okay.” Amanda lowered her fingers towards me. I loved how long and slender they were, but to the little Blefuscudians, they must have been larger than skyscrapers. Amanda used her index finger and thumb to pluck the plane from the ground, causing some of the Blefuscudians working the outside to take cover under their vehicles. “Just swallow it?” She said this with the plane in front of her lips.
“Yup.”
“Damn it Seth, what are you doing?” Cathy asked in our private channel. “She’ll kill them all.”
“Not if your composite works.”
“Here goes nothing.” Amanda lowered the aircraft into her mouth and then swallowed. Sending 800 Blefuscudians on the ride of their lives. “Okay Seth I did it.”
I smiled down at Cathy. “Pull up the video feed,” I said. “Let’s see if your stuff is the real deal or not.”
