Abbie didn't make any sudden movies, the last thing she wanted to do was scare the little guy. The last thing Abbie was expecting to be in her bag was a tiny Lilliputian. Abbie gets on her knees so that she was eye level with the kitchen counter.
“Don’t be afraid I’m getting on my knees.” Abbie said softly, unaware of the damage she was causing.
Kyle didn’t like this, he didn’t even know where he was. One moment Kyle was grabbed by a Brobdingnagian kid and then thrown into something soft, the next he was on a hard surface, looking up at the face of another Brobdingnagian, a face that was 1000s of times bigger than he was. Then the unspeakable happened, she talked, with a voice that was like thunder, and raging winds that knocked him back a few feet.
Abbie looking at the little speck, which was Kyle, saw how he seem to stumble backwards and fall. Abbie instantly knew that it was her fault, Abbie still was not use to her knew found might just yet, and therefore still was not a expert in controlling her voice. Abbie puts her right hand over her mouth and lets out a little gasp.
“I’m so sorry, little guy. Are you ok?” Abbie asked with great concern.
Kyle still on his butt, did nothing but look at the planet size face that belonged to the Brobdingnagian women. Kyle was afraid and yet couldn’t help but feel attracted to this giant girl. Kyle came to Brobdingnag to have a good time with his friends, Kyle and his friends never expected to ever meet a Brobdingnagian, interactions between a Brobdingnagian and a Lilliputian were rare, but now Kyle was face to face with one and to make matters worse he was separated from his friends. Kyle startled by the sound of a loud boom, sees Abbie’s right hand rise to her mouth. Kyle soon came to the conclusion that the loud boom that he heard a second ago was a sonic boom caused by Abbie moving her hand. Kyle once again heard the sound of thunder echo in the distance, Kyle knew that this so called thunder was the caused by the Brobdingnagian, trying to speak to him. Kyle could help but think, how could anything be so powerful.
Abbie felt like a idiot for trying to speak to the little guy, what was the point when she couldn’t hear him. She remembered what she was told during her training, Abbie was told that a Brobdingnagians voice was deadly to a Lilliputian and how special head wear was needed to communicate with them, headwear that she had. Abbie movies toward one of her bags and gets out a small plastic container that held a big and small head set. On the top of the plastic container red the words “Entertain Lilliputians.” Abbie cuts open the plastic container with a couple of scissors and gently places the nano-sized Lilliputian headset on the kitchen counter right next to the Lilliputian.
Kyle began to panic as he saw Abbie’s giant sized hand come towards him, a hand capable of wiping out cities with ease. Kyle closed his eyes and put his hands over his hands hoping to stop the Abbie’s hand from making contact with him, deep down Kyle knew that his meager strength could do nothing to stop even one of Abbie’s hairs, let alone one of her fingers but he was desperate. A few minutes passed and Kyle noticed that he was still alive, opening his eyes Kyle noticed that Abbie had set something on the ground, looking closer Kyle noticed that it was a headset. Looking up at Abbie’s giant face Kyle noticed that Abbie had put a headset on her head just like the one on the ground in front of him, the only difference was Abbie’s was a hundred times bigger. Kyle puts on the headset with great unease.
“Um hello” Kyle says into the microphone.
“Oh I can hear you.” Abbie said with a smile on her face.
“Good thing these things worked, or we would be in trouble.” Abbie said with a little giggle, as she looked down at the speck.
“Yeah” Kyle said feeling awkward, as he starred up at Abbie’s gigantic face.
Kyle didn’t hear the thunder in Abbie’s voice anymore. Abbie’s headset adjusted her voice to a safe level so that Kyle could understand her with out being hurt. Kyle felt the ground rumble as Abbie giggled.
“So my names Abbie, what’s yours?” Abbie asked as she leaned in a little closer to Kyle.
“Kyle! You are?” Kyle asked trying not to sound scared.
“Abbie.” Abbie said.
Abbie with great care stuck her finger out towards Kyle.
Once again Kyle felt fear, as he let out a little yelp that echoed in Abbie’s headset. Kyle saw a Abbie’s massive finger come towards him slowly. Kyle didn’t close his eyes, instead he watched as Abbie’s finger came towards him and stopped just a few inches away from his face. Kyle soon realized that Abbie wasn’t trying to kill him but give him a handshake. It was strange but Kyle reached out and grabbed Abbie’s finger unable to shake it.
Kyle could feel every nook and cranny that made up Abbie’s finger, the curves that formed Abbie’s finger prints. He was amazed, if he was not careful he would be stuck in between Abbie’s ridges and Abbie wouldn’t even noticed
Abbie couldn’t feel anything as Kyle grasped her finger. Abbie was excited, when was he was in High school she didn’t really talk to boys, she was always to shy, now not only was she talking to a boy, but a boy that was so itty bitty compared to her. As Abbie looked at Kyle she couldn’t believe how small he was, she couldn’t believe that she use to be as small as Kyle, it turned her on just thinking how weak Kyle was compared to her.
