Abbie picks a studio apartment to live alone
“Hey Grace, why is there a male roommate option?” Abbie asked as she looked at the computer screen holding the names of all of the possible hosts. “And why are the possible hosts all either Gulliverians or Lilliputians?”
“Those are likely people who for one reason or another lost their last Brobdingnagian housemate and decided to try and fill the vacancy.” Grace began as she walked over to look at the computer screen herself, “Though there are others who use the hosting service to try an employ new female Brobs as either maids or secretaries, a great way to get extra spending cash on top of the $50,000/year the government gives you for the first five years you’re a Brobby. Finally there are the guys hoping to get a Brobby girlfriend.”
“Wait.” Abbie interrupted in shock, “Even the Lilliputians? How would that even work?”
“You’d be surprised at just what kind of thrill seekers there are out there.” Grace answered with a laugh. Abbie laughed with her, though very uncomfortably. She was a little worried over having a Lilly roommate. She didn't want to accidently hurt anyone. Being a Brobdingnagian comes with the responsibility of being careful around the smaller races. As a former Lilliputian, she felt it was her duty to protect and care for other Lillies.
Grace interrupted Abbie's thoughts on her new role in life. “Now then, I shall leave you to decide where you want to live. Just give me a shout when you're done” She then left the room.
‘Living with a stranger would be kind of weird… so I guess I’ll have to choose to live at one of the apartments.’ Abbie thought to herself as she went back to looking over her possible choices.

The next day Abbie arrived at her new apartment. She stepped out of a car.
The Apple Hill Apartments was a high class apartment complex that had a staggering $15,000/year price tag on it. Granted the apartment complex came with access to a private pool, gym and tennis court.
Her own apartment number was E-103, and average apartment room with two bedrooms, master and guest, a bathroom, kitchen, living room and came with a washer and dryer.
‘Grace said that they have already furnished the room for me, though they did take it out of my monthly allowances for the first year.’ Abbie’s thoughts continued as she popped the trunk to the gently used 2012 Honda civic that she purchased. “I’ll have to live frugally for my first year, at least until I can get a part time job to supplement the allowance.” Abbie murmured under her breath as she grabbed the groceries and her other purchases within.
Entering her apartment she started putting the food away while wondering what she would do with the rest of her day.
‘I bought a new bikini, so I could hit the Apartment’s pool or even head to the beach. Or maybe I could check out the Apartment’s gym or tennis court for a work out.’
