You wake up dazed. Your body leans against a cold, slippery surface, and bright light shines through the office. You remember what happened: how you passed out in Miss Hall’s shoe. You’re now in a large glass jar on the principal’s bookshelf in her office. She’s at her desk in front of you, working away at her laptop. In instant of rage sets in, and you bang against the edge of the glass in a futile attempt to get out.
She looks over her laptop and calls to you, “Look who finally decided to reenter the world.”
“Please, let me out!” you shout. “This is all a misunderstanding.”
But she only grins.
