You wanted to discover what else could you do with a device that already allowed you to travel to anywhere in the multiverse and change the mass of anything. Those were cool features but you wanted to push for boundaries, and because something told you there was more you could do with this thing, then you decided to forget about the tests and get back to work.

And turns out you actually managed to discover something that in theory greatly expanded the capabilities of your device. You couldn't quite pinpoint the philosophical implications of it, but basically it could be summed up as how based in the fact you were able to use the device on just parts of your body you were also able to extract that abstract concept that you can call soul, identity, consciousness or whatever, from you or from another living body and from there, discover a new range of possibilities.

- Body swap: This one was simple enough, the portal allows you to travel anywhere, and now that you could point to that specific part of the brain that hosted your consciousness you could just switch them, you would be able to inhabit somebody else's body, and that other person would gain control of yours. The nature of the swap meant the portal wouldn't end up in your hands which could be an important hurdle to, you know, not being trapped forever in somebody else's body.

- Possession: You also realized you didn't really need to transfer things, the brain indeed allowed space for you to invade another person and if using the altering function on it, be able to take over for the most part, although the same questions about the device remained plus an additional one that scared you a bit, would your physical body still be alive without such a crucial piece of yourself? How would you behave? Would you be able to survive?

- Transformation: And from there, you realized that you didn't even need a brain, but that your consciousness could be imprinted on anything, just another of the capabilities of your impressive device. Of course, nothing about the object would change so you wouldn't be able to use the device anymore, so you got into the task of implementing timed functions in order to go back to your body safely

- Trait transformation: Motivated by your advances of being able to play with consciousness in such a liberal way, it didn't take you long to isolate other abstract things and be able to apply the same things to them, meaning traits like intelligence, skills and virtually anything could be in theory enhanced on its own, transferred to someone else or even stolen, although the differences between enhancing a trait naturally or taking it from someone else escaped your comprehension, you just knew it could be done.

You were satisfied with all your breakthroughs, feeling you were even closer to that megalomaniac vision of yourself as a God with all those new features you found. You wondered if you could do even more, or if it was just time to finally give the thing a proper test
