The egg drops to the floor and attaches itself, forming into a deformed gelatinous blob.
Tails stared at the fertilized ovum for a long time, contemplating what he'd just done.
He could barely hear Vanilla's comment over his own guilt and shame.
"Cream honey, look at this! The egg needs a way to gain nutrients from the mother's body so it implants onto the uterus after it's been fertilized."
Vanilla leans down to get a closer look and beckons Cream to do the same.
"Isn't it fascinating? This little egg will soon grow into a fully grown living creature! It's the miracle of life!"
Cream clapped her hands in enjoyment. "Yay, that means Tails is going to be daddy! I'm so excited," she exclaimed.
"I know, sweetie. I'm excited too."
"Is there anything else you want to do here or can we just go? grumbled Tails.
"Oh!" Vanilla suddenly stood up. "Yes, actually. I want you to do something for me."
"Oh really?" he mocked, "and what would that be?"
"I wanted to ask you if..."
