You felt a mix of emotions as you kept travelling in the very narrow duct, mainly curiosity for the anomaly your scrying spell wasn't able to dispel, meaning that there was something inside this stallion that shouldn't be there at all. But also you felt a bit of self doubt in your abilities as an arch mage, why weren't you able to find out what it was anyway?
Big Mac was relieved that weird pain on his balls seemed to be just a one time thing as you kept travelling through the ducts, seemingly towards the ampulla and prostate. You thought for a bit on shrinking even more so you could fly and reach faster your target, but you decided you were already small enough as it was and even if the passage was a narrow and humid tunnel that felt oppresive thanks to the noises in the distance, both from outside as the hardworking stallion continued with his labor and from inside as his organs kept working as usual, you found yourself enjoying the trip and getting distracted by what on earth was that anomaly supposed to be.
Could it be a key to the mystery behind the nature of earth ponies? Something unique to this strong and shy but according to the rumours very sexually active stallion? what else could it be? You only hoped it wasn't an error in your spell, that would be hugely disappointing.
Your eyes widened when you reached the ampullae and along with watching the change of the environment, with the organ pushing the sperm cells around like some sort of recycling machine, there was a weird looking artifact surrounded with what seemed to be a magical barrier. You approached slowly and gasped when you looked closer, it seemed to have some sort of notes and a device next to it!
Your mind was full of questions, was somepony inside big mac before? What for? What was the purpose of that device and why it was so protected, if you needed to be a highly skilled mage just to get near it at all? You weren't confident of breaking that barrier and as expected, a couple of spells you tried did absolutely nothing to it, only managed to make the muscle surrounding you to work a bit faster, as if you were a slavedriver that suddenly whipped the organ to accelerate. The barrier also blurred whatever was written on the notes so you couldn't make out even an educated guess on what was that about, leaving you only with more questions
Now what? You thought to yourself. You had other questions that went beyond your initial investigation, and multiple paths you could take to find out what was this all about. You figured out maybe you needed to check the rest of big macs body for more anomalies, but also wanted to explore other ponies and see if you found something similar inside of them (and continue with your research, as you initially wanted to be inside a mare after all). Or if you wanted to solve the puzzle instead of searching for more pieces, you could either try getting inside an active magic user and harness the power to break the barrier or just retreat and search for alternative ways to do so..
