You scare them by going ghost

Chapter 20

As you ran, you thought about what ghost form. In the meantime, you made yourself invisible even to the point where you did not leave footsteps. You thought, ‘If I can't think of a form, then I might as well stay invisible.’
You paused when you heard some rustling, so you stayed still.
Two of the Mizores walked by. They briefly stopped and looked around.
After a few moments, they walked off.
‘Too close, but Mizore is a stalker in Rosario+Vampire. Even her mom was a stalker,’ You thought as you walked .
You came across Kitsune and Naru facing away from each other and looking around..
With a smirk, you carefully snuck up and pinched Naru’s butt before scampering away.
“Eek! Kitsune! Why did you pinch my butt?” Naru shrieked as she leapt away from her friend.
“Wha? I didn’t. Maybe it was a ghost of some guy?” Kitsune asked with a shrug.
“Ghost?” Naru asked, looking with disbelief. She began to look around in a hurry, hugging herself. “Why couldn’t Motoko come with us? She’d exorcise all the ghosts…”
You successfully made Naru anxious! Now you need to keep it up so you started to breathe heavily, just at the right enough volume to not be loud, but loud enough that anyone who hears it will be creeped out! Sure enough, Naru heard you!
"What was that noise?!" Naru shuddered.
"What noise?"
"You don't hear it? It's like somebody is breathing!"
"Seriously? I was joking about the ghost stuff its probably the wind!" Kitsune sighed in annoyance.
You needed to give Kitsune a bit of a fright so you decided to say something that would creep her out. "I-Issac… W-Why?" You whisper.
"Did you say something?" Kitsune asked, a bit startled.
"N-No! See what I mean?!" Naru shrieked
Kitsune took a deep breath to try and steady her nerves. “Naru, we’re just… hearing the wind, is all! If we were in Japan, we’d blame it on the Kamaitachi.”
An idea hit Kitsune. “And I bet Kashiwagi planned this all! We get scared of some toons hiding in the woods, trying to scare us, they succeed, and she gets to post pics of us running like cowards, just to try and look like the awesome one!”
The ever-prideful Naru latched onto the idea like a lifebuoy in a storm. “Yeah… That… That sounds right. I bet the old Grandma is just as jealous of us as she is of Risette!”
‘Not good…’ You thought. You wanted fear, not anger. ‘Time to bring out a big gun…’
With a spell that limited the sound to only the immediate area, you let out a fearsome “RAGH!”
You enjoyed how the hair on the Hinata honeys rose up before they hugged each other and began to look around in a panic.
"Screw this! Let's get out of here! I'm not dying for a man that may or may not exist!" Naru shouted before running off
"Wait for me don't leave me here!" Kitsune shrieked before running as well. You got one group of girls down now for the other two. While walking around trying to find the other group of girls, you thought about the ghostly form you should take and decided on your normal form with a twist. Every time you turn invisible, then visible again, your body will slowly decay. You eventually find Chie and Chiharu searching the woods
"Gah I think Kitsune was right. This is probably a scheme for Kashiwagi to drink all the beer or something!" Chiharu grumbled. You decided to test out your acting chops and went behind a tree before turning visible with a ghostly glow.
"Issac! Isaac, where are you?! Come on, mom’s gonna make smores!" You shout. The girls looked back at you and saw your ghostly aura
"Nope, screw this!" Chiharu shouted before trying to run only to have her arm grabbed by Chie.
"Chiharu, no! Come on! It's probably just an act!"
"No it's not! Look at that shit! He's freaking glowing! How can he not be a ghost?!"
It takes all your willpower not to laugh at the two’s argument. You take a deep breath before continuing your act.
"Gah! Why do I have to be on babysitting duty!" You whine in annoyance before walking behind a tree and making yourself invisible. The two girls looked behind it only to see you gone.
"Yeah no no no no no a thousand and one times no! I'm not facing a ghost!" Chiharu shivered before running off leaving her teammate behind.
"Ugh seriously?! Whatever I'll do it by myself then!" Chie shouted at her fleeing partner before heading deeper in the woods to find you.
Chie paused for a moment before she looked around. She smiled before skipping towards a tree. As she pulled out a marker, you wondered what she was going to do.
As she began to hum some song you didn’t recognise, you slowly snuck closer.
“There!” Chie cheerfully said, holding up a fallen tree limb that had all sorts of ofuda scribbled onto it.
You weren’t too sure if your ghost form was immune to Chie’s ofuda-laden makeshift bat. However, you recalled a lesson from your grandma.
‘Never be afraid to switch things up.’
So you used a spell to throw your voice and made moaning sounds . Chie followed after each noise, grinning like a maniac as you used another spell to put a large number of creatures under your controls.
When she got to a certain spot, you now grinned like a maniac. As soon as Chie stepped on a twig, you snapped your fingers.
As soon as she heard the buzzing, Chie stopped grinning and muttered in horror, “No. Please no.”
A fog of all sorts of insects came out of the trees, causing Chie to toss away her weapon. She ran as fast as she could to escape the mass of insects, screaming as loud as she could.
Eventually, your controlled insect cloud dissipated and went off to do their own thing as Chie arrived at the Campfire. Everyone was glaring at Kashiwagi.
“This place sucks!” Chiharu cried out.
“We encountered real ghosts!” Naru exclaimed.
“You’re after the booze!” Kitsune angrily said. “ I can’t believe I agreed to go on this trip and be your assistant!”
“Hey! I’m not keeping the booze to myself. I only agreed to let you bring some because you promised to not let anyone go hogwild with it. The ghost thing is unexpected, but we can just leave for a hotel if you all think we should,” Kashiwagi quickly said.
“Why don’t you go after the ghost, Kashiwagi-Sensei?” Nico asked, as she was preparing the fish dinner.
Kashiwagi looked like she had sucked on a lemon as she looked at Nico. She looked at the others, but they all pointed at the forest.
Kashiwagi sighed before saying "Fine I'll do it!"
She then walked into the woods.
"Do you think she will be okay?" Nico asked. All the other girls could do was shrug.
