You decided to go to the town below, as Canterlot is too far away and Cloudsdale would be the last choice as being a magic-wielding pegasus would raise some unnecessary attention, same if you try to go for a winged unicorn even if you were able to soft hypnotize them all, word will go out eventually that you weren't normal.
Meanwhile, Ponyville was already not a normal town, there was a lot of stuff going on nearly every week that can be chalked out as part of the town's weirdness and there was a large array of ponies you could pick up to resurrect from, including the mane six if you wish to but there were families here you could be born from, even individual ponies that could feel frisky one day could work and as soon you're born, you could go disappear from their lives and no one would question it due to the soft-hypnotism and general weirdness of the town would make them all overlook such a thing; a foal that goes around and grows so fast into colthood would be seen as something of a rumor.
As you descended, you saw the myriad of ponies going through their day all possible receptacles for your rebirth, but your eyes wondered on...
