Chapter 12
You nodded as you jogged toward them in order to catch up and then started walking with them. Then you heard Vanilla’s voice as she wanted to get to know you. “So Mr. Anon, do you live around here?”. This made you a little nervous to answer but you reply with, “Um... not really. At least not yet. I’m not from around here and just arrived today to look and plan to live here after I find the right home. Decided to look around for a bit until I met you two”. Technically the was the truth as you weren’t from around here and this whole dimension is new to you. You then see Vanilla looking at your chest or more specifically the thing hanging of your neck. “That necklace of yours looks interesting. Is it important?” asks Vanilla. You held the necklace and explain, “Yeah... this was a gift from my grandma. It is all I had of her before she left. She even gave me the confidence to go on my own and now start my new life here”. It looked like Vanilla understood when she says, “I see... well I hope you enjoy living here and Cream and I hope to see you often in the future”. You nodded as you appreciate the fact they enjoy your company and want to see you more.
The three of you made it to the town where the two rabbits were in front of you and you see Cream holding Vanilla’s hand. A few minutes later, you then see Cream looking in a certain direction. You decided to look at that same direction and you see an ice cream vendor. “Mama, can we get some ice cream?” Cream asks while tugging on Vanilla’s dress. “Sorry sweetie. I only have enough money to buy groceries so we can have any treats”. You see Cream with that sad expression and it just hurts you wishing you could do something and then you thought maybe you can. Your necklace/tome can make anything as long as you have enough mana. You moved away from the two of them and with one hand held tightly your necklace and focused. You thought of this world’s currency wanting a lot of it and something materialized in your hand. It looks to be a large pouch filled with a ton of golden rings which meant the spell was a success. You walk to toward the ice cream vendor and ask for two ice cream cones with all the fixings. The female ice cream hands you the cones while you hand over some rings where she then says, “Thank you for your business”. You started walking with both cones in hand toward Cream and Vanilla. “Would you girls like some ice cream?”. Cream’s eyes lit up where she grabs one from your hands while saying, “Thanks Anon” while she starts licking away at the ice cream. Vanilla still surprised says, “Goodness Anon. You didn’t have to do that for us”. With a smile on your face, you hand the other cone to her while saying, “I’m happy to do it. Just think it as a way of thanks from me for letting me tag along with you”. She gives up and takes your kind gesture as you all head to the grocery store.
The three of you made it to the grocery store and you all proceeded to enter. While you watched as the two rabbits pick out their foods you thought you should get some as well as you still had plenty of rings in the pouch you materialized. Seeing as you’re a rabbit you probably have to eat as one so you picked out carrots and other fruits and vegetables along with some beverages. You, Cream, and Vanilla left with all your purchased items and Vanilla says, “Would you mind seeing us home?”. You oblige and walk them home while carrying some bags. After a while of walking, Vanilla let’s you know they were close. That was then that you noticed something. All of you were near the field of flowers where you met the two. Must be nice to live somewhere so beautiful and calm. You finally come across their house and you see them open the door. “Thank you for a wonderful day Anon and thanks for carrying some of the bags”. “No problem Ms. Vanilla. I had fun being with the two of you. Well I should get going check my new home”. You left while Cream waves goodbye and says, “Goodbye Anon. We should spend time tomorrow as well”. You don’t know if you might but signaled yes to her.
