The Tamer shrugged, he didn't mind revealing the fact that he could do magic, and he muttered a quick spell. He extended his hand, and a blue and white flame-like aura made of pixels engulfed his hand. The same aura appeared around the four felines, and they started to float.
"What's that?" asked Renamon, confused.
"This is called Digisoul, and it's the energy that flows from a human into a digimon that allows for accelerated evolution," explained Anon as he walked out of the room, the floating felines following him.
"Can all humans do that? And is that the reason why a digimon with a Tamer evolves faster?" asked Renamon, curiosity evident in her tone as she followed her Tamer.
"It's not normal for humans to be able to manipulate it this easily, but they can learn to manipulate it to an extent," explained Anon as they climbed the stairs, then he added, "And, yes, that's why mons with Tamers can evolve much faster."
"Are there any other applications for it?" asked Renamon as she looked mesmerized at the blue energy.
"There are," replied Anon, but didn't elaborate any further as he walked down the hall.
"And how exactly can you manipulate it when normal humans can't?" asked Renamon, her usual caution showing.
"That's because I'm a wizard, and I can manipulate the different energies that permeate the universe," explained Anon, not wanting to lie, but not knowing how Renamon would react.
Renamon looked at her Tamer thoughtfully, then nodded in acceptance. After all, there were some digimon capable of using magic, so it wasn't that weird that some humans would also be able to use it. With her curiosity satiated, she followed her Tamer until they reached an empty room, and she watched as he gently placed the four sisters on one of the two beds.
Blackgatomon, Meicoomon, Mikemon and Gatomon, curled up, and snuggled against each other. The mattress had more than enough space for the four felines, and they looked adorable sleeping like that.
"We can talk about our new partnership tomorrow morning. Now, you should get some rest as well," said Anon and Renamon nodded before sitting on the empty bed. He looked back at the four felines before saying, "Good night."
"Good night," replied Renamon as she watched her Tamer close the door.
Once the door was closed and Renamon was sure Anon was far enough, she let herself fall on the mattress. She spent some time looking at the ceiling of the room, then she thought, "So far, things turned out better than I expected."
Without anything else to do, Renamon closed her eyes, relaxed and tried to get some sleep.
Anon quickly washed the dishes using some magic and went to his room to get some rest. Before falling asleep he checked the stats of his digimon, which were displayed in a similar manner to Cyber Sleuth, and he even checked a Digibank app. In there he found all the digimon that the five absorbed so far, and it was mostly Rookies and a few Champions.
