It took some time but you managed to find Guilmon's shed in the park, which was empty. The red dinosaur's absence and lack of tunnel underneath the shed being clear signs that if this world followed the timeline of the show, then it meant you arrived before the show even started.
After looking around some more, you found a familiar Japanese house, and after looking at the sign you saw that it was the Nonoka residence. After exploring for a bit you noticed a curious, but not entirely unexpected, lack of a familiar yellow fox digimon, and you also noticed that Rika was older then she was in the show.
With another tamer to check, you headed in the general direction you thought Henry's house was. Predictably, you found an older Henry looking after his younger sister without the small digimon acting as plush, and that meant there was one last place to check.
You phased into the government building that Hypnos used as a base of operation, and saw that they were in the middle of an operation. A digimon seemed to be on the verge of making a connection to the real world, you grinned, returned to your body, and time resumed.
Still smiling, you got up and turned on the computer before placing a spell on it. You took a step back, and watched as mist started to come out of the screen. At the same time a Digivice appeared on your hand, and instead of being the familiar D-power it took the shape of a smartphone.
You found the smartphone digivice from Last Evolution to be way more practical and convenient. With that out of the way, you sat down on the bed, and placed the Digivice beside you on the mattress.
Now, all you needed to do was wait for the Digimon to come out.
