"Who are you? Where are we?" asked Renamon, her voice was similar but not the same as the one in the show.

Renamon's questions cause the four behind her to notice that they were not alone.

"Hello there, my name is Anon, nice to meet you," said Anon amicably to the battle ready fox, who relaxed a bit but didn't let her guard down yet, then he added, "And you're in my room. If you want to be more precise, we are in Shinjuku Ward, in Tokyo, Japan."

"Then, we made it," sighed Gatomon in relief.

Anon's digivice already scanned the five digital monsters before him as they spoke, which was evident by five circles with a pixelated sprite of each digimon in the center, and over sprite was a percentage that was slowly increasing as the borders of the circle filled up. The image was very similar to the scanner in Cyber Sleuth, and that was intentional.

"Still, it's not every day that a group of Digimon just so happens to appear. May I ask, why did come to the Real World?" asked Anon trying to get his guests to relax.

Renamon and Blackgatomon narrowed their eyes while Mikemon looked at Anon suspiciously. Meicoomon simply answered, "We heard the it was way safer in the Human World."

"Plus, having a Tamer is the fastest way to get stronger," said Blackgatomon as she got up, however, inwardly she was cursing Meicoomon's trusting attitude.

"Still, most people would think you would come alone," said Anon as he looked at the group. From what he remembered, this version of the Digital World was pretty brutal in a dog eat dog kinda way, and self-reliance was a requirement to survive.

"I'm not leaving my sisters behind," hissed Mikemon, her eyes glaring at Anon for the unsaid implications.

"We were hoping to find a Tamer that would take us in and help us get stronger," said Gatomon with a tired but hopeful tone.

Renamon did her best to hide her flinch from the others, and she was successful in hiding the fact that she knew that Tamer took only one partner. Unfortunately, hiding such information was no longer an option, and she didn't know how to tell that to her friends.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but most Tamers only take one partner," said Anon, and that made the four cats disappointed.

Renamon simply sighed in resignation at the fact that the information she kept hidden was revealed, and in relief since she wasn't the one to reveal it. The four siblings were the first true friends she ever head in a long time, and she didn't want to hurt them.

Seeing the digimon's reaction, Anon quickly added, "Luckily for you, I said 'most', not 'all'. There are rare cases with multiple partners."

"And why would we trust you?" asked Renamon, at first stunned by that revelation, but it sounded suspicious to her.

"Here," said Anon before picking up his phone, which finished scanning the five digimon before him. and sent a request.

All five of them perked up as they saw a floating window pop up in front of them, on it there was a message, "Party invitation received. Join? Yes / No."

"Luckily for you, I happen to be a Tamer looking for a partner, and I don't mind taking in a group," explained Anon, all that sounding too good to be true for most of the group.

*growl*

Before anyone could say anything, multiple growls were heard coming from the digimon group, all of whom blushed, and covered their bellies in embarrassment. They have been running for a while, and it was even longer since they ate anything.

"I'm going to prepare dinner, you can take your time before answering," said Anon as he placed the phone in his pocket, then he got up, and walked out of the room.
