Just as you put your books away you heard the distinct sound of hooves banging against wood, and turned your eyes to look over to the front door..
Curious. You hadn't really expected anybody to find you here, and you certainly weren't expecting any guests.
You were almost tempted to ignore the sound, to pretend that you weren't home so that they would go away and leave you in peace. That would be rude, however, and if there's one thing your dear old grandmother would not abide, it's being rude towards any potential guests (or potential clients).
You could almost feel the heat of her gaze drilling into your back, waiting for you to make a move.
*Sigh* Ok, fine.You win this round Grandma.
You sighed heavily then put on a smile for your guest, then begrudgingly trudged over to the door to open it.
As the door swung inward your eyebrows slowly rose as you noticed just who was standing on your doorstep.
