While Brenda entered her office and sat down at her desk, you were climbing the final stretch to your destination. Brenda's massive eye towered above you, like a vertical lake of white and brown the size of a city. In truth, you had no idea whether this could work, whether there was any chance Brenda could see you even when you were literally right in front of her. But even if you failed, at least you would know from now on, and hopefully figure out a better plan.
You climbed onto one of Brenda's eyelashes, each akin to a massive stone tower, and approached the gargantuan eyeball. From this up close, each blink was terrifying, a wall of flesh that appeared and disappeared within a moments notice, but you managed to hold on.
When you finally reached the end, the closest you could get without risking being caught in her eyelid, you knew it was now or never. Gathering all the energy you had left, you jumped, waved, did everything in your power to be the most noticeable and attention-seeking microbe the world had ever seen. You figured the human eye could probably not see you properly, nor even focus on you, but you were hoping to exploit the human ability to notice even slight motion and changes in the environment, and to look human enough in the process to make Brenda question what you were.
At first, it seemed like your efforts weren't going anywhere, as Brenda was entirely focused on her monitor. However, as you kept changing position and motion, you eventually saw the eye trying to look and focus on you, though unsurprisingly failing to do so. The sight of a monolithic eye shifting its gaze towards you startled you at first, but you couldn't risk losing Brenda's attention, so you immediately continued your efforts to be literally eye-catching.
"What the..." you hear Brenda's voice boom from below, so loud you cover your ears in pain. However, her comment and the fact that she has stopped her work seemed to indicate that she had actually taken notice of you. Unfortunately, you had no idea what exactly she thought of you. You had done all you could, and all that was left was to hope.
