You decided there was no point in waiting for the perfect opportunity, you just had to keep moving. It took you hours to move across even the smallest of distances, so even if something presented itself, your chances of taking advantage of it were slim. So, you kept moving, carefully climbing over to Brenda's massive right eye in the distance.
The gap between someone's nose and eye seemed so negligible, it was a part of the body you had never given any active thought before. It certainly would have been nice if it had remained that way, but instead, you now found yourself crossing one that spanned several kilometers, and any mistake could spell your doom. All the while, Brenda's huge eye, your destination, loomed in the distance, so far yet frightfully close at the same time. Each blink produced an audible thump and sent a wave of air over you, fortunately not strong enough to threaten your tight grip on Brenda's skin.
As time passed, Brenda naturally didn't just remain still. Keeping track of time was difficult without a clock in sight, but you estimated that she spent about half an hour wandering around in your apartment, waiting for you to appear. Her patience seemed to run dry at that point, and after leaving a written note you unfortunately didn't manage to read in time, she left your apartment and entered her car. You had to admit, leaving your apartment and entering the even larger world beyond was scary, but you would rather be outside with Brenda than at home all by yourself.
While Brenda didn't live too far away, the car ride still gave you some time to climb while Brenda was sitting mostly still. You estimated roughly another thirty minutes passed before Brenda stopped the car at her place, a house much nicer than your homely apartment. You had been over before, but only a couple of times, and it was always pure business. Not because Brenda was snobby and didn't want you here, you two just weren't close enough for casual invites or visits. Regardless, you had no time to appreciate the view, you still had to cross the final stretch to Brenda's eye!
