Calming down a tearful giantess
When she looks down into you, Lucy stars to tear up, before saying in a deeply apologetic tone:
"Lo siento...realmente me disculpo...por cómo...te trate cuando te encontré...más no hay...."("I'm sorry...I really apologize...for how...I treated you when I found you...there's no more...")
Then she burst out in tear, saying:
"Se...que no justifica en absoluto...pero yo...¡estaba tan desesperada! ¡Todos los chicos...siempre me rechazaron...no querían nada conmigo! ¡Cuando te encontré...pensé que estaba haciendo...algo nada malo...debía haber pensado un poco...como mi madre me dijo!"("I know...it doesn't justify at all...but I...I was so desperate! All the guys...they always rejected me...they didn't want anything with me! When I met you...I thought you I was doing...something not bad at all...I should have thought a bit...as my mother told me!")
Shocked by this, you lay there in her hand, sit siting. Meanwhile, Lucy continues her rambling:
"¡Tonta...eso es lo que soy, una tonta! ¡Estúpida! ¡Nunca pienso las consecuencias de mis decisiones! ¡Con razón los chicos se alejaban de mí! ¡Sin duda merezco estar sola!"("Stupid...that's what I am, a fool! Stupid! I never think about the consequences of my decisions! No wonder the boys stayed away from me! I certainly deserve to be alone!")
Now, this has gotten far. She might have done mistakes, but nothing that cannot be emended. You can only think of this, as the girl goes on for a while, before just tearing up.
You then noticed that, beneath that..."dumb" girl exterior, lay a actually gentle person. One that deserved to be forgiven by her actions.
You stand up, and go near her big finger of her hand. Lucy noticed you moving, and while still tearing a bit, asks:
"¿Que estás...?"("What are you...?")
You don't leave her time to continue. You go near her massive finger, and then...
You hug it. Like you would hug a tearing person. You're too small to hug and calm Lucy, so you hope she gets the message across, and feel the intended effect.
Thankfully, she does. She starts to stop her crying, and smiles a little. She then say:
"¿Estás... tratando de consolarme?"("Are you...trying to comfort me?").
I nod, knowing that she doesn't get English. This little act provokes her to smile more, and say:
"Me asentiste con la cabeza... sabiendo que no sé inglés, así que decidiste responderme de una manera que yo si pudiera entender."("You nodded at me...knowing that I don't know English, so you decided to answer me in a way that I could understand.")
With every passing moment, her tears stop flowing ever so slowly through her beautiful face. Meanwhile, her smile grows wider, and keeps talking, saying:
"A pesar...de que te metí en mi culo...a pesar...de que en esencia te secuestre en contra de tu voluntad...estas dispuesto en confiar en mí, en darme una oportunidad de remediar mis errores. Soy una chica muy afortunada de haber conocido a joven tan amable, dispuesto a perdonar los errores de una chica tonta."("Despite...the fact that I shoved you up my ass...despite...the fact that I essentially kidnapped you against your will...you are willing to trust me, to give me a chance to right my wrongs. Then, she starts tearing up again, but more out of joy rather that sadness or regret. Then, she finally clear up her last tears, while saying:
"Sin duda...será necesario que aprendamos los dos nuestros idiomas. Nos facilitara sin duda la comunicación. Pero por ahora, bastara que yo este atenta, y que tu asientas tu cabeza cada vez que yo te pregunta algo, ¿entendido?"("Without a doubt...it will be necessary for us to learn both our languages. It will undoubtedly facilitate communication. But for now, it will suffice for me to be attentive, and for you to nod your head every time I ask you something, understood?").
I nod, telling her I get the message. She smiles, and even giggle a tiny bit. Then, Lucy says:
"Excelente, ahora que me disculpe apropiadamente, y que estamos en sintonía, creo que es hora que pensemos que hacer por el momento."("Alright, now that I apologize properly, and that we're on the same page, I think it's time we figured out what to do for now.")
That’s a great idea. After you left the hug, you sit down and ponder. What now? Unfortunately, despite you both managing to get simple messages across with she asking and you nodding in response, more complicated matter are still beyond reach. You could go back and ask María to serve as interpreter. Or you could let Lucy decide what comes next.
In the end, you prefer the latter approach: simpler, but leaves all the important decisions onto Lucy's hands. That might not be a bad idea; perhaps she can actually surprise you.
You stand up, and touch her big finger again. This way, you get Lucy's attention.
When she looks down to you, she ask:
"¿Qué pasa? ¿Falta de ideas?"("What's wrong? Lack of ideas?")
You're in luck: she just asked the correct question.
You nod, and then point a finger at her. Lucy, a bit bewildered, scratches her hair, before pointing one of her own fingers at her. She ask:
"¿Qué quieres decir? ¿Qué prefieres que sea yo quien decida que haremos ahora, por el momento?"("What do you mean? What do you prefer that I be the one to decide what we do now, for the time being?")
When you nod, Lucy looks down, and focus her eyes. She then asks:

As she taps her chin, you can wonder what she is going to do now. If anything.
