Armed & Dangerous Revenge of the Geek Gal chapter 11 by copier · original author: penslayer5

Fortunately for the terrified geek girl, fate decided to cut her some slack in the form of a teammate lobbing a dodgeball at the former school idol. Charles Xavier was his name if Enda remembered correctly as the poor boy was constantly on the receiving end of X-Men jokes from both his friends and bullies alike.

He wanted to play the hero by knocking Heather out of the game and rescuing the damsel in distress, unfortunately this wasn't going to be his shining moment. No, far from it. Even though Heather Miles appeared to be down and out she was still damn good dodgeball player.

Whether it was by seeing the ball herself or by pure instinct, she managed to deflect the oncoming object by using the ball in her hands as a shield. Poor Charles was left standing there stunned as his attack failed and Heather aimed down her nose at him.

If this were an anime the scene would've run in slow motion as a dark shadow ran across the blonde's face while her glasses were highlighted by a lense glare. A malevolent aura would've surrounded her and the background music would scream death.

Enda could see it all play out in real time as the tall mouse of a girl cocked her arm back, leaned forward, and launched the ball full force. It soared through the air like a bullet, just clipping past the geek herself before catching Charles right between the eyes.

The were a loud smack as official dodgeball met flesh and the unfortunate recipient of the pain was sent careening backwards in the air as his whole body was forced to do a complete 180. He hit the hardwood with a thud and anyone who saw the scene play out from either side winced. Charles was down for the count and there was small pool of red building under his nose.

Ms. Nuvelle blew her whistle and brought the game to a halt. "Timeout!"

She walked over to Charles who had yet to move and turned him over with her foot. Anyone close enough got a good view of his nose which was now crushed inward. The sight was gruesome to be sure and if it weren't for the steady rise and fall of his chest then it would be easy to mistake him for a stiff.

"Holy shit." Trish whispered. She knew Heather had a good throwing arm but damn.

"Ouch." Aoi whispered blandly.

"Heather's right arm should be listed as a registered weapon." Patsy thought to herself.

Enda had still yet to turn around as she was too busy studying the frightened look on her former bully's face. The girl was clearly horrified by what she'd done which also caught the geek girl by surprise. Heather rarely if ever regretted her actions.

Slowly Edna turned her head to where Charles lay and had to cover her mouth when she saw the damage. She hadn't just eliminated her teammate; she annihilated him and his sniffer. He wasn't going to need a nurse; he was going to need a hospital.

"Hayes!" Ms. Nuvelle suddenly called.

"Y-Yes!" She stammered out.

"Go to my office and call 911! On the double missy!" The educator ordered.

"Yes ma'am." She saluted. She gave Charles one last look before taking off.

"Smith!" Ms. Nuvelle snapped towards the goth girl.

"Yeah?" She responded.

"Take Miles to the principal's office and wait for me there." She finished.

The goth girl nodded. "Understood."

Whispering began to circulate through the gym as Patsy walked over to her distressed friend. Edna couldn't hear what she whispered to her, but she could faintly make out Heather pleading that she didn't mean to hurt Charles. It then occurred to her that Heather actually knew the boy's name.

She was led out of the gym by Patsy and the whisperings only grew louder as students articulated their thoughts on the school idol. The reactions were very mixed but leaned more towards the negative for good reason.

"Everybody, take a seat!" Ms. Nuvelle spoke calmly.

"I just called 911 and let the school nurse know what happened. She'll be here soon." Ruth said quickly as she returned from the office.

"Good. Now go take a seat with your friends."

Ruthie nodded and led Edna back to the bleachers where conversations didn't cease. She looked towards her friend and asked the first question that came to mind. "What the hell was that?! I thought she killed him!"

"So did I." Enda whispered. She could feel the sweat forming on her brow.

Had Heather always been that strong? Was she holding back the whole time with her? If so, then she held back a lot and could've killed her at any time. That was a very frightening revelation.

"What'd you think will happen to her when this gets out?" She asked.

Ruth frowned. "I have no idea."

One thing was for certain; things were only going to get worse for the blonde.
