“I...I understand now...” she whispered. “I love my size, I absolutely do, but because of what’s been happening the past few days, I know that I can’t stay on Earth anymore. I don’t want to hurt anyone else, so I’ll save everyone the trouble and leave the Earth in peace. I’m still getting bigger, so I think it’d be for the best...though I wouldn’t mind finally getting some clothes again!” Miss Spiral giggled.
The people of Earth let out a collective sigh of relief as the immeasurable woman decided she’d leave the planet to stop all of this senseless fighting. Despite the war they had waged against her all these years, even Dr. Connors felt sorry for the huge mother, sad that he could not finally return her to normal despite her constant protests. However, because of this, he swore to himself to focus his research on the Infinite Spiral project, determined to make some clothes that would grow along with her no matter how big she became.
“Bye everyone...especially to my two precious babies...I’ll miss you all.”With that, she bent a little at the knees and sprang up, rocketing herself into space with her considerable strength. Miss Spiral floated around earth for the longest time, simply gazing at it and admiring the tiny planet she had once lived on.”It’s so very pretty...”She cooed, a smile on her face yet tears in her eyes. The massive mother turned around and began floating away.
“Goodbye everyone...” she smiled once more as she gazed out into the vast star ocean of the cosmos. “Don’t worry, I’ll come back to visit you all someday...Who knows, I might just be able to fit just my toe on the planet for a little toe-cation!” Miss Spiral giggled as she continued to float off into the endless void of space.
“Now then, what fun can I have out here in space,” she pondered. Before she could continue, the monumental mother felt a chill encompassing her naked body, one of the first she had felt in a long time. “Brrr! It sure is chilly in space! If I had known that, I would’ve brought an itty bitty jacket! Now let’s see...Oh, I know! I’ll help out those tiny scientists on Earth by checking on Mars! I wonder if there really are such things as aliens? Oh well, I bet they’ll have never seen something as big as me before!”
Turning her attention towards a small red dot countless miles off in the distance, Miss Spiral began to head towards her new destination, still thinking of how to help the people of Earth no matter how big she became and despite her voluntary exile.
She began floating over towards the mars, unknown of the journey ahead. With the red planet so far away, 250 million miles to be exact, she had plenty of time to think as she traveled, and plenty of time for the denizens of earth to recover from the destruction she had brought.

Several Months Later
“Ah, now this is more like it...”
Miss Spiral was in her usual tanning position upon Mars, the titanic, 10,000 mile tall being finding the desolate world perfect for her to live on. Sure, it was small, and she could traverse it in a few minute’s time, but no living being would ever be harmed by her, and she hadn’t been attacked by aliens, so that was a plus as well. It had been almost half a year since she left behind the home she once knew, and she knew nothing of what was going on over on her home world. She would like to look up at it in the sky every once in a while, just gazing at it for hours on end, enjoying it’s blue color and lazy revolving. She could sometimes see the marks she had left, the hole where Africa had once been, an imprint of her once smaller body laying down, footprints, stuff like that.
And she missed it all so deathly much.
Miss Spiral happily sighed, “I miss the Earth, I really do. I wonder what’s been happening down there after all this time?” she pondered as she flipped onto her stomach, letting the Sun begin to tan the other side of her luscious body. Due to the effects of the potions she had ingested, Miss Spiral’s body dynamics had become fundamentally altered: She no longer needed to sleep, yet she did only to remember what is was like to do so; her body had stopped aging - she would now be eternally youthful and immortal; and all of her senses had become heightened to superhuman levels. She was basically now a living goddess.
“I hope everyone’s doing fine down there without me...” she paused for a moment before continuing. “Tomorrow’s Lily’s birthday...and I won’t be there to share it with my darling little angel...” Gathering herself once more, Miss Spiral quickly had a bright idea come to mind. “Oh! Wait! That’s perfect! I might not be there in person, but I sure can give her the best birthday present ever!” she giggled as she resumed her tan, deciding to create her gift once she had pampered herself enough for the day.
The Next Day, That Very Night
“Are you sure I can’t open my eyes yet?”
“Just keep the friggin’ blindfold on, Lily.”Michael sighed as he, his younger sibling, and several other party-goers sat on their front lawn, looking up towards the night sky in anticipation.
“Mom’ll have your birthday present soon.”
“How can you possibly know?”
“NASA’s keepin’ tabs on mom now that she’s in their field of expertise, space. And they sent me a message just this morning about a gift from her, to you...”
“Now...?”
“No...”Michael looked at his wristwatch, waiting for the exact time Miss Spiral had given in the message, midnight. One minute away. 45 seconds...30...10....3,2,1...
“Okay, now.”
Lily removed the blindfold covering her face to see her older brother smiling down at her and handing her a telescope. She took it in hand, held it up to her eye, and followed where Michael’s finger pointed to the stars above. It took her to Mars. She saw her giant mother on the surface of the red planet waving at her in the telescope’s eye, and by her feet, etched into the earth itself, it read:
“I love you Lily, happy birthday baby. Mommy misses you all so much.”
