A moment of silence stretched out for the longest time. The fighters retreated to a reasonable distance, still at the ready whenever Miss Spiral would shrink to apprehend her once she was normal sized.
“I feel...”Miss Spiral spoke cautiously, her mouth still reeking of the taste from the formula bomb. She slowly stood up, glad her attackers had left, but her stomach still gurgled, the only sound heard for miles. The earth held it’s breath in anticipation at what would come next.
“....Strange...”She finished her sentence with a hiccup. All at once, everything went to shit for the Anti-Spiralers.
Dr. Connors could not believe what he was seeing, slack-jawed and wide eyed.
The remainder of the Anti-Spiral forces retreated in fear.
The populace of the world gazed up in awe as Miss Spiral began to grow once again.
At first, it was slow, but rapidly beginning to pick up pace. In a matter of seconds, 7500 miles was just a memory as she entered 8000 miles and continued to shoot up into the atmosphere.”Oh my....oh my!”Even Miss Spiral found her size increase dizzying. Her rapidly expanding feet was quickly approaching the US’s coastline, and she had to take a few steps back just to make sure her toes didn’t reach land and destroy whatever laid there. But with her persistant growth, she quickly found that she was running out of safe ocean to stand on.
“Everybody! Quickly, retreat to your nearest disaster shelter! I repeat, RETREAT!”Warning signals flashed across the globe as billions panicked and fled to whatever safety they could find. School gyms were immediately crowded, underground fallout shelters took people quickly, and streets were packed with traffic with people fleeing with homes of outrunning the gargantuan woman quickly encompassing the entire western hemisphere.
Slowly, ever so slowly, her growth died down. After five minutes packed with solid size escalation, Miss Spiral was now a towering, intimidating, and frightening 10,000 miles tall, taking up the view of almost the entire planet.One country could gaze at her titanic toes, while on the other side of the globe countries were meeting the back of her heel.
“I...I got bigger...”She whispered, still thunderous roars in the ears of all below. She would usually be happy, but after the events of the recent days, she began to ponder something. How had she grown? Every time she was attacked. She was peaceful, she was kind, and yet people still feared her, still hated her, still wanted her destroyed. Now, the gigantic being had a decision to make. She knew that her presence on earth was dangerous to the entire human race. One wrong twitch, and bye-bye went a civilization. One wrong step, and she’d shatter the planet. She would have to leave to protect the ones she loved. Or...
Or, she could enact her revenge. The thought came across her mind vile, but disgustingly appealing at the same time. She could rule this world if she wanted to, hell, she always could have right from day one of being a giantess. She could become a fearful and terrifying goddess, mighty in her wrath towards all that had wronged her. It actually reviled her that she was CONSIDERING such an evil thought.
But as she gazed down at the countries laid out before her with their countless mortals staring up at her, waiting for a decision, the enormous Ellen Spiral finally made up her mind.
